Since dinner happens when we get there, we always grab food on the way. We've normally gotten fast food, but I started looking around to see what's open late on the way up. In my search, I found El Forastero. Their drive thru is 24 hours, so we decided to check it out.I enjoyed the street tacos. A good size and simple. Great with all the salsas we got. The crunchy taco stayed crispy on one side, so I was able to enjoy the crunch. The salad wasn't so much a salad as a plate of meat with some lettuce. I'm not sure why they asked me if I wanted fajitas. Maybe they come with them? If so, I'd say this would be more of a fajita plate with some veggies. The fish taco was a lil weird. Very chewy on the ends of each fish piece. Almost like fish jerky? The amount of chicken was generous. The hubs seemed to enjoy his enchiladas and burrito.Using the drive thru, we were a little confused. No one was on the speaker and we didn't hear the car in front of us ordering, so we just drove up to the window. We turned out to be the dumb ones since we saw the car in front of us getting her order right when she drove up to the window. So don't be stupid like us and not use the speaker. The drive thru person was very sweet and just took our order when we drove up. Luckily there were no cars behind us.Great spot for late night Mexican. Tho pay no attention to the online menu prices. Good for a quick lunch or dinner when needed. The drive thru service is swift. I'm fond of the shredded beef burrito, as well as the Birria rolled tacos (when available).

great Authentic Mexican food at a great price. I just came from San Diego and LA and this is no different. I don't care much about service, I'm hear to eat, Not to be treated like Queen for the Karen's.The Staff was nice if anything!What a hidden GEM, WOW food was absolutely Amazing!! Get the Lengua Burrito if your into Berf or Pork, you'll thank me in a different Lifetime!! Cheers Mate

We have driven by this location more times than I count but stopped in today to give them a try on taco Tuesday. We ordered 8 street tacos and ate inside. The salsa bar was great, loved all the salsas they had out and the chips were perfect! The restaurant was not super busy but they had a steady flow going, we waited maybe 10 minutes for our tacos to come out.We ordered both chicken and steak minus the onions. Both meats were flavorful and the amount of meat in the taco was just right. Sometimes you go for taco Tuesday and the meat portions are small but not here, they filled the tortilla up just right. I'm glad we finally stopped in and I'm excited to try other items on their menu!!

Gone through drive through and ordered super nachos, super burrito, and bean and cheese burrito. Left the location and got home to find no super burrito. Called location and told them they charged me for a super burrito and didn't put it in the bag. Asked for some discount considering I live 20 minutes away. The guy on the phone said we can give you a free burrito. Went back to pickup the burrito they forgot to put in the bag in the first place. Got there and told them that someone said they were going to give me a free burrito and they said no. Basically wasted an extra 40 minutes to go there to get a burrito that they failed to put in my bag in the first place. Then to boot they refused me a discount and or free burrito. Horrible customer service. Do not recommend! Fail! Fail! Fail!

I do really love this restaurant and eat there often. However, on our most recent visit the male teenage cashier with the glasses was obviously not happy being there. He had a bad attitude and my husband saw him picking up the plastic cup tops off of the floor and placing them back into inventory . Then while refreshing the salsa bar, he removed all of the salsas to take into the kitchen to refill, and left the uncovered limes, pickled jalapeños and carrots at the bar, uncovered, while spraying windex everwhere! We were shocked and feel customers should know. I really hate writing bad reviews, but this guy should be fired before someone gets sick.

It was ok but could be better, the hot sauces wasnt to good and carnitas wasnt tasty enough, adalbertos still taste better, customer service needs improvement totally and to many weird people goes there as well lolz

normally it's a 5/5 for the carbs asada fries... but this time they gave me half the amount of food yet still charged $15.50 for it. Portion size should be the last concern or you will lose all your business. I'll give you guys one more shot but if this happens again, I'm over it.
