Great find! Not sure why this place is not getting the crowd it deserves! Maybe I'm just coming here to eat during at off-peak time :). Food is excellent, the place is clean and the crew are very professional and attentive. I understand things are expensive nowadays and people are cutting back on eating out but if you're looking for a Mexican restaurant in the area you gotta try this place.

Used to be a decent place. Their carna asada used to be good, not any more. Last few orders seemed that they just split one order into 2 or 3. But the last straw was when I noticed a hair on my last order. Never again.

It's so hard to find a GOOD Mexican restaurant, but every dish in this place is such a delicacy! I fell in love with the camarones a la diabla.. bursting with flavor and good plate if you like some heat. A plus is the handmade tortillas made fresh! Paired my meal with a michelada and it was perfect. The service is always great and it's never too packed. Don't skip out on the crispy tacos or carnitas either!

Food was good, I had the jumbo burrito with shredded chicken. Prices are cheap compared to what I'm used to. The service is where they really shine. The whole team was constantly cleaning, helping patrons etc. Highly recommend this place

Checked out a new (to me) taqueria over the weekend! Located in Natomas in the same shopping center as Chef Frank and Safeway - off Del Paso Blvd.The inside was clean and had plenty of seating. There was a nice salsa bar with free chips as well.We ordered street tacos - Al Pastor, Chicken, Carnitas and Carne Asada. There was nothing out of the park about them, but they definitely hit the spot and I would come back here next time I am in the area! Their Molcajete and Pozole looked amazing!Service was super friendly and they checked on us a couple of times to see if we needed anything else. I can tell that the people who work at El Favorito put a lot of love into their business!

The food here is very subpar. I ordered Togo, and ordered the taco bowl, two tacos, carne asada fries, and a shrimp steak burrito. The tacos literally had no flavor, we didn't even touch them, the taco salad was okay (probably the best thing we ordered), and the burrito my husband said it was okay. We've had better. It didn't taste authentic. We never received our carne asada fries and we tried to call them but no one answered. It is just more of a hassle to have to drive back to pick it up so we just took the loss. I probably wouldn't come here again when there are other authentic Mexican places close by.

We came back tonite to try the food. We had the taco salad and burrito. The taco salad was great and very filling. The burrito was too. The service was great and the chips were complimentary which was nice. I didn't realize they had breakfast may have to try that sometime. They had a TV going and the restaurant was very clean. I'll be back.

If you are ever in the mood for some Mexican, you can't go wrong with El Favorito. Hubby and I are on our way to a family outing and remembered this place.They have a salsa bar with fresh chips. The mood is relaxed. With some futbol on the TV and Mexican music playing in the background. Staff is always very helpful and friendly. I never know exactly what I should get and they are always ready with suggestions.Hubby had the chilaquiles and I had cheese enchiladas. Magnificent!

Walked in to the taqueria for the first time ever and was impressed with the inside nicely decorated and very clean. Ordered the Asada torta, Asada nachos and horchata all in all it was a good meal but the asada was on the dry and salty side, maybe had something to do with it being on the later side of dinner. Customer service was good for a taqueria. The staff would check in periodically. I would like to give this place another try maybe with a burrito or taco next time.
