Another great testament to community involvement. With the guidance and diligence of EDHDog.org, the new dog park has finally opened (06/05/2015) in "the EDH". Plenty of shade trees, open space, poop bags and water fountains ( for humans & K-9's)**water fountains for humans & K-9's. Poop bags for dogs only. Both the big dog (over 30lbs) and small dog areas have ample room to run and play. We now have 3 very nice dog parks ( Folsom / Cameron Park ) within a 10 mile radius of our home. What a great place for "Man's best friend" to run, play and meet new friends.

I have spent a good portion of my summer evenings here for the Friday Concerts in the Park El Dorado Hills. All the events have been very well organized with an upbeat atmosphere, and the selection of tribute and cover bands has been top-notch. Food vendors at the park have included Steve's Pizza of El Dorado Hills, Cold Stone Creamery of El Dorado Hills, Ruffhaus Hot Dog Company and a popcorn and shaved ice vendor (drawing a blank on the name right now). A most excellent way to spend a warm Friday evening during the summer. As for the park itself, it is clean and maintained exceptionally well. It is surrounded by beautiful tree lines that give the park some privacy from vehicle traffic on El Dorado Hills Blvd. Along the tree line in the interior of the park, there is a cool fence-enclosed dog park that has been very active every time I have been to the park. There is of course backstops for softball/baseball games and the lawn is professionally chalked for soccer games. It is a great place to get outdoors in the community. No complaints, 5 stars!

This park is fantastic! It's clean and well maintained. The bathrooms are nice and clean as well. My kiddos play soccer here so we are here almost everyday. The grass is well kept and short. There is a dog park that was recently added. One for bigger dogs and another for smaller. There is a little kiddo playground that is fenced off (so mom's don't worry you can kick back and relax while they play) then there is another section for bigger kids. The CSD also has a great skate park for those that like to skate. The skate park seems to be staffed which is cool. There are bathroom located next to the playgrounds (that have soap woo hoo) the other bathroom are on the opposite side of the park (CSD North) that have bathrooms. There is a nice basketball court located at the upper field area (CSD east). There is also a batting cage area. In the summer the CSD offers concert in the park which is super fun as they bring in jumpy houses, food trucks etc. also, there is food truck Wednesday's. That's a blast with a beer garden to boot! Sweetness! Love this park!

Before opening any more parks, please allocate funds fix the outdoor rinse stations at the pool. We pay to go in (whether we swim or are just there to keep an eye on the kids), so I think we should expect working facilities. It's been a problem for at least two years, as far as I can remember. Plenty of time to get it taken care of.
