Food was tasty and was served to my table in a timely manner. The restaurant was nice and clean. Well decorated. Sports on the TV's. Spanish music playing over the speakers. Very nice place.

You know you are in trouble when you roll up to a drive thru and the menu has ZERO prices indicated. I ordered the breakfast burrito and it was $12. That's pretty ballsy power play for a drive thru in Del Paso Heights. So that burrito better be fuego for $12. Fuego it was not. It was fine. A bit on the bland side and it was a chorizo burrito. It also came with chips and salsa which wasn't indicated on the menu. Just such a lame fucking thing to do to have no prices. And I'm sure it is a problem for the staff because I gave me order at the screen, but I could tell they didn't start making my food y til they took my money at the window. Probably because enough people drove off when they said the price. I would have driven off too. I wouldn't come back here.

Rating is more like 3.5 stars.I was craving tacos last night and we decided to check out El Burrito Taqueria since it's not too far from our house. The inside is pretty spacious and clean - even the bathrooms! They have a nice salsa bar with chips, lots of drinks including beer and fresh squeezed OJ. Their menu is pretty big too - ranging from Quesabirria Tacos to traditional plates like Chili Verde. Service was friendly and quick as well.We ordered a Carne Asada Burrito, Al Pastor Tacos and an Asada Quesadilla. Unfortunately, the burrito and tacos were dry. I wanted to really like the tacos, but it tasted like the meat had been sitting out all day or made the day before and reheated. The salsas all tasted fresh and had great flavor, but I was overall very disappointed in the food. Since it is in our neighborhood, I will probably give them another shot and just try something else. Might give their breakfast burritos a shot on the weekend!

Consistently is key. Just visited for the 3rd time, and I can say with confidence this is a quality spot. Great, friendly staff, good food and fair prices. Super bonus points for that salsa and chip bar.

Running errands and ended up on the north side? I think? Don't quote me! Anyways.. went in starving and the sweetest girl was working. I told her I'd never been in and what does she recommend. She said the birria tacos. So I just took her advice. Although not the best I've ever had.. still great and for $12 for all this food. I'm not complaining! Will come back to try more stuff!

This is a brand new business on Del Paso Boulevard in Old North Sacramento in the building that used to be KFC. El Burrito Taqueria has five locations now, this is the newest one. They worked super fast converting this space - it is really nice. The front patio is large and beautifully tiled. Wonder if they are dog friendly. The inside has partial booth and traditional table seating. Order at the counter, receive your table number and hit the chip counter to pick out your chips, salsas and more. The salsa verde was my favorite salsa. My partner loved the habanero. Chips were super fresh and crisp. For our mains, we ordered:-Chile Relleno burrito bowl with grilled chicken - I added grilled veggies too. This was amazing and a huge portion. Comes with rice, beans, salsa, sour cream, guacamole, cheese and lettuce. -Cabeza taco - my partner said this rivaled with some of the best Cabeza he's ever had. -Pastor taco - partner said this was good but not amazing. So glad to have this taqueria close-by - this is going to be my new go-to Mexican joint!

Found this gem on a jaunt to Sacramento. Managed to get here without hitting any traffic. Unlike if I had gone towards Arden Fair Mall. Wonderful personnel. The cashier allowed me to peruse the menu for as long as I needed and was gracious when I ordered. My food was brought to me which was unexpected and much appreciated. Huge and delicious@

So many delicious sauces. The waitress was so attentive and kind. Overall we had a great experience! We would come back if we lived in town!

Moved from the bay to sac, these are the best tacos I've had since then. The salsas I got on the side blew my mind! Thank you!

Do not order the shrimp quesadilla from here!!! My husband called the restaurant after hearing me complain because I kept complaining how the quesadilla should be called veggie quesadilla or bell pepper quesadilla because that's all (veggies) I ate on the way home. I kept eating it in our dark car (daylight saving time in Dec. so 6p looks like 9p) because I kept hoping I'll get a piece of shrimp on each bite. Well, I kept hoping but could only find one shrimp after every few bites. So when we made it home, I placed the tray on our kitchen table and cut the rest of the quesadilla open hoping there's more shrimp hidden. NOPE!! At this time, I probably only had 4-5 shrimp eating probably 80 percent of the quesadilla. I just complained to my husband that if he would have just told me that this was not the same restaurant he bought the shrimp quesadilla he got me a week ago, I would have asked him to get me something else. I kept telling him that there were probably only 5 pieces of shrimps in that 6 inch quesadilla!!!Because I am not one to complain to the restaurant, I just complain to the person that bought me the food (husband). And I'll just take it as a loss and will never go back. So he decided to call after my complaints. He talked to someone but he didn't mention I ate the majority of the food already. So the person over the phone told him to bring the tray back. Well, it was almost done!!! When he got there he told me he had to ask to give him back something (money or food) because they lost me as a customer already.. he said that although he's happy with his food, if he doesn't receive a refund or another shrimp quesadilla with mostly shrimp instead of veggies, then he also would not be coming back. So eventually, my husband got a refund. So long story short, the shrimp quesadilla should not be called shrimp quesadilla.. it should be called veggie quesadilla with shrimp since it was mostly bell peppers, onion, tomato and 5 pieces of shrimp! Don't order this! You will be disappointed!!! I will not be coming back.
