Best tomatillo salsa I've ever had--spicy without being too spicy. Find it at the salsa bar along with other great salsas, fresh chips, and escabeche.Pastor is consistently flavorful and tender and their portions are great. You can order to-go or dine in which makes this a convenient and clean lunch spot. The service is always accommodating and the staff is very knowledgeable about the menu!

I got the shrimp burrito with no cheese and it was sad. Very opposite of what I'm used to. The burrito fell apart and was super wet. The burritos took awhile to come out. Order at the cashier and wait for your order. The bell peppers and onions were different and the shrimp wasn't seasoned.Big parking lotSalsa bar with chips

El Burrito is one of our go to spots when we're in the area and want Mexican. We like coming Sunday afternoons and it's usually pretty busy. The menu is pretty extensive and there's definitely something for everyone. We usually get the super burrito or a combo plate. They have several meat options to choose from. We like the birria, pastor, and carne asada. Everything has been flavorful and big portions. For the kids we usually do a just side of beans and rice and they love it. They also have free chips and salsa bar. There are plenty of tables and they do a great job cleaning them quickly. Tons of TVs usually playing futbal or football. Prices are reasonable and service is always friendly.

I was feeling under the weather and decided to splurge on dinner. What a disappointment when I unpacked my food. We pay the same amount of $$ for Dine-In order Take-Out but the quality of take out food leaves a lot to be desired. My pozole soup cup was dried and not full to the top and to add insult to injury, there was a big piece of cooked onion taking up space in the cup. My toatadas were broken and the salsa container was completely spilled inside the bag. Restaurant wasn't even busy for such sloppy packaging. You eat with your eye's first and I completely lost my appetite. Horrible and frustrating experience because you are already home and it's not worth my time to call to complain. They don't care anyway.

This place has potential. Wanted to try another spot for mexican food besides the Taqueria on sunrise and greenback lane and another location near greenback and fair oaks. So our first impressions- nice set-up, clean, and staff were pleasant. So what did we order:1) Plate of chile verde: tender pieces of pork, but was sweet and didn't have any spice or tang from the tomatillos. The rice wasn't oily and the refried beans had a pale look but decent flavor. 2) Giant Quesadilla: this quesadilla was huge but was wrapped like a burrito. It was also filled with guacamole, sour cream, lettuce, and salsa. strange, these condiments are generally on the side...right? So it looked like a burrito. But the carne asada was dry and cold. Even the cheese was not melted but just shredded pieces of cheese. I also believe the cold condiments contributed to the cold pieces of carne asada and unmelted cheese- perhaps if they had grilled the item longer (not sure if it were even grilled at all) it would have improved the dining experience - not what i had expected and just took it home after two bites. Would I return, perhaps.

I've been in here a few times.Came in here a few days ago. We had a language barrier at the cash register... The overhead menu doesn't have pricing. The menu on the counter does, however no mention of extra charge for different meats. Turns out lengua is the same price as other meats = Great! The portion was good. I like to eat less than most so I was able to make two meals from my super burrito. It could have used more sour cream but there was enough lengua. Odd thing is the gassy attributes I had after my meal. And the leftovers the next day gave me an upset stomach. This hasn't happened here before, so I'm willing to rate 4 stars. The chips and salsas were nice, salsa type and spice level clearly marked, and the price was reasonable at $11.80 OTD on one lengua super burrito.Service is usually good. Spacious seating is good. Shared patio seating - some umbrellas but no trees and it's on concrete surrounded by asphalt so it'll be warmer on hot days - is pretty nice when temperatures are nice. Parking is fine. Restroom was adequate but one of the soap dispensers was empty and the other took coaxing. Not sure about the stalls, didn't use them.
