Ed's Deli Market

Love this place it's super convenient and friendly service I highly recommend this place to anyone.

Love this corner store. I'm a regular. They didn't have my favorite redbull flavors when I first started going there but they specially ordered them for me. Good sandwiches and very good prices. I went on a scratcher binge there one afternoon and they didn't judge. Glad to have Ed's Market nearby!!

Just one of the many corner stores in midtown. Its not bad though. They have a deli counter. I cant remember the times but if you ask im sure theyll make you a sandwich regardless of the time. The owner and his wife are very nice. Bring cash cause theres a debit charge. Theres also a ATM located inside the store. They have a small variety of everything from toilet paper to cereal and so on. Beer is there, but no liquor (Pine Cove isnt far away). Not a bad store to stop in if youre in the area.

The only place in Sac I can find my favorite China Rain scented incense cones. Just so happens to be in walking distance from my spot. All the dudes working the register are chill and kind, and for a neighborhood corner store, they have a decent selection of beer, wine, and liquid diabeetus.

Actual update now. Went in today desperate for ice cream. They appear to have cleaned up substantially and added a lot more product in the coolers and on the shelves. You don't get the scary vibe any longer, but they still have a long way to go.

I love Dave....(his name is not Ed:) When I lived on D st- he was always there for me- closed at 7? No prob. If he was there, he'd let me in. I once even put up an ad for him on line, and he totally gave me a six pack to take home. His wife, is sweet as hell, and daughter too. They always asked how we were, whats new and what not. I was never interested in the deli part, but it does exist! He even gave me a lemon once from the case-for free! Theres an ATM, fresh brewed coffee most days, and at the time, he was selling my clove cigarettes- score! Its a pretty decent place to buy your beer, and "candy crack" malt beverage- and once in awhile some steeply priced odds and ends. My only complaint, is that they dont sell The Bee anymore...but who really wants that paper anyway? (I wanted the ads) So, I say stop in, if youre around.

Went to buy some candy and what do I find?? a refrigerator full of red wigglers! Being a gardener this had made me very happy.
