My wife loves this place, so we stopped in for drinks and a bite and she's right! It's fantastic. Sacramento is really becoming quite the foodie town, and these guys are all over it. And the location is primo.

I had an invitation from the owner to have a do-over to make up for the last time I was there. I decided to make resys for my birthday! I was greeted by a friendly staff person and seated right away, in front o the kitchen at the Chef's table. BEST TABLE EVER! Our server, Micah was great as well. Matthew, the restaurant manager checked on us the entire time we were there. For starters we ordered the portobello fries with an herb aioli, and the potato gnocchi with mint peas pesto, which were great in both temperature and taste. However, we received as gifts from the chef, both the sweet fire cauliflower and the fried spinach salad. My entree was a medium porterhouse steak. Well, this was the reason for my three (3) star review only half of my steak was medium, the other half was well. But all the different dipping sauces were brought out with the steak. The medium section of the steak was perfect in taste and temperature. Since the entirety of my steak was not medium, Matthews sent me home with a medium fillet. Dessert consisted of the Apple Pithivier and ice cream was given as a gift with a candle, along with a sparkling rosé and dessert port. This was a far better experience than the last time I was here. Definitely 9.99/10!

The ambience and the big windows and location , being in the hotel, were definitely nice.Food was really good, although nothing stood up that much to me or surprised me.The steak portion was smaller than expected but enough for a good taste.Service was fantastic

My boyfriend & I came for Valentine's Day & I was a bit underwhelmed I've heard good things about this restaurant so I was excited to try. The bread that came out was my favorite thing I ate that night. The calamari had good flavor but it was a pretty small portion. My boyfriend got a steak & he enjoyed it. I got the Mac & cheese & burnt ends The burnt ends had good flavor as well just a pretty small portion as well.Mac & cheese was just okay didn't have much flavor. The service was okay our waiter was nice but was not very attentive. The vibe inside is nice & it was nicely decorated for Valentine's Day!

I visited with a friend on a Sunday afternoon for cocktails. The hibiscus haze was delicious. It consisted of hibiscus infused tequila, lavender, lemon, and sparkling wine. The cocktail tasted like a tart, fruity, and fizzy beverage. I highly recommend this drink.

I came here for brunch on a Saturday morning. I had reservations but it wasn't busy so I definitely could've walked in. You can park on the street or the restaurant offers validation. We started with the kale salad and the steakhouse salad both were amazing ! We ordered the lemon ricotta pancakes which were just okay to me but my mom liked them. My mom ordered the brisket hash , that was just okay to me but I am not big on potato dishes. I ordered the steak and frites and it was really good, my steak could have been cooked more to my liking but the flavor was good and I loved the frites. I would definitely come back for brunch or even dinner. I wish they had bottomless mimosas :(

Food: I think this is a very average steakhouse, but, perhaps, good for what's in this area. I think I've been spoiled by my Chicago upbringing, so keep that in mind. I find the steaks to be on the leaner side, so that may add or detract from the review here depending on your preference. I've had the hanger, Spencer, ribeye, and Bavette cuts here. That being said, this could be a 4 star for the value. The steaks are in the $40-$55 range. That being said, they have a nice selection of beers. They have some nice signature and especially cocktails available to those that like those.I have feeling that Echo and Rig may be a better more for their non steak options. My later review will be more representative of that. I bring that up, because they have a pretty large menu and when I ask the host or waiter/waitress what they like here, they typically say non-steak options.Service: i've actually always found the bar service to be slow on average. The dine-in is pretty solid. It's generally pretty easy to make a reservation here especially same day, Ambiance: I would describe it as modern and chic. I think it definitely has a better vibe at night, when there's a darker vibe. To me, that's the vibe I like out of a steakhouse. That being said, it's a nice place for lunch or even drinks before the King's game. Very heavy masculine vibe to the decor. It is cool, but feels a little cheap, especially when it's very bright.
