East Sacramento's Fab 40s Christmas Lights

The Fab 40s in East Sacramento is such a great spot to check out holiday lights. The houses are beautifully decorated, and the neighborhood feels so festive. You can either walk or drive through to enjoy the decorations, but walking gives you a chance to really soak it all in.I recommend bringing a warm drink like hot cocoa or coffee to keep cozy while you look at the lights. If you want to avoid the big crowds, try going later at night, it's a bit more peaceful and magical that way. Definitely a must-see during the holiday season!

The Fab 40's is a must during the Christmas season! It might seem like it's not as decorated as some neighborhood's, but it's only because it is stretched across multiple streets!We were lucky enough to visit on Christmas Eve as my cousin bought a house in the Fab 40's this year! So it's nice to have a place to park and visit after checking out the lights.Most of the houses are decorated differently and I love seeing the lights that hang from one side to the other. My favorite this year was The Christmas Story house that had mannequins dressed as the characters - they even had the car from the movie!Obviously parking and traffic is nuts just like during Halloween - which in my opinion is much worse since it's one night, but you can find parking on further streets and just walk over or drive down each street instead.I just love walking up and down the streets with friends and family - it's the perfect way to celebrate the holiday season!

The Fab 40s Christmas lights are pure magic! Every house is decked out in stunning holiday cheer, creating a festive wonderland. Great sights to see. I liked how festive everything was, especially seeing a dancing man covered in christmas lights. Just be weary of the traffic, its better to walk. Was truly fab.

I have heard of the fab 40s for holidays for a while since moving to Sacramento County. Maybe it was just 2024, but this year the lights were not impressive at all and my kids and I were disappointed as we had to drive through a lot of traffic just to see it.

Would not recommend as a pedestrian. We walked the fab 40's last night in a group of 8 people and while there were a couple houses that did actually catch our attention, most of the time was spent attempting to navigate tight sidewalks and dodging entitled drivers, nearly getting hit more than once. At least the hot chocolate stands were cute.

Houses were ok. Made it nice because almost every house participated and we walked for several blocks. Although majority was string lights. Dove wood Court in Orangevale is very nice but it's just a court. But they really deck it out. Another neighborhood I like is pebble creek Dr in Roseville. Decors are nicer than fab 40s as well but is not as long as Fab 40s. Where ever you go enjoy the time with your family/ friends. Merry Christmas.

The lights did not disappoint. Beautiful homes and even some carolers.Be prepared to navigate narrow streets with lots of cars. Next year we will walk!!
