Really cute spot. We sat on the patio since I had my dog and they gave him some water right away without me having to ask.Our waiter was attentive and friendly.My enchiladas and margarita were very tasty!My friend enjoyed her Shrimp Salad!Thank you for an enjoyable lunch experience!

Scary bad health department review! Poor food cleanliness, etc. Hope they can turn things around.

I just had lunch here and had a fabulous experience! To start, there is a parking lot behind the restaurant, which is a giant perk in East Sacramento. We sat outside and the patio is lovely -- covered, clean, and spacious. The service was attentive and friendly. The house salsa was the best I'd had in a while, with a lovely kick. I ordered the East Patio Salad with Carnitas on top, and it was delicious! I had a cup of coffee (it was okay, but admittedly probably not a common choice at a Mexican restaurant -- I will definitely try something from the cocktail list next time!)!I walked inside and it was much cuter and brighter than I remembered. It was clean and welcoming. I'll definitely be back soon!

First time here and am very fulfilled. I got a super burrito with Al pastor, pinto beans, and added creamy poblano sauce and it was so delicious!! The creamy sauce really made the burrito next level. I also had a passion fruit margarita which was delicious and you can taste the alcohol. The salsa eas also very tasty but a bit too spicy for me. The chips were very crispy and airy, kind of unique when compared to other chips. Our server was super sweet and attentive and the restaurant was clean and festive!

I am picky when it comes to Mexican Food. Unfortunately, I feel good Mexican is few and far between in Sacramento. When you walk into East Patio it looks, feels and smells just like it should. I have said this before, and I will say it again. I feel that the mark of a good Mexican restaurant is good refried beans and rice, and of course - good chips and salsa. The refried beans have to be the type that you just want to dunk your tortilla chips into. I have now visited a few times and have tried different things. We went for dinner and I had the 3 item combo with an enchilada, a chile relleno and a crispy taco, also a 3 item combo with a pork tamale, enchilada, and a crispy taco. Everything was good, and I'd order those items again. The tamale was packed with meat, which we really liked. My only complaint is that is that the chile relleno was not completely cleared off all seeds before they stuffed and cooked it. So I had to pick the seeds out. Simple adjustment, still tasted great. We also had a couple very cold large 22 oz beers. They have both Modelo Especial and Negra Modelo. Win! Another time we visited, we went for brunch and had the fish ceviche, pozole and menudo. Their menudo is very good, and I'll leave out the details, from the previous night, but it does a fine job at curing a pesky hang over, and now I order it for takeout or from food delivery services when needed! East Patio does it right from traditional Mexican décor, great service, good beans and rice, yummy chips and salsa, piping hot entrees done right, and ice cold beers on tap!

Just ordered delivery on DoorDash and food arrived iced cold. I love half a mile from here it did not get cold on the drive it was undercooked. Cheese in cheese enchilada is raw pic attached showing first bite. If the ends are cold the middle will be uncooked. The sauce is cold. The quesabirria taco was good but that is about it. Pic is one part of enchiladas put the rest into the oven when first bite was cold and raw.

Awesome service and good food. Would like to return in summer to dine on the patio. Salsa was a bit peppery but the mole was good.

We recently ordered take out from East Patio Mexicano, while visiting family in Sacramento. Six different meals were ordered for six people. Included in our order; burrito bowl, crispy tacos, combination plate, enchiladas, and chili rellenos.First off, when we arrived to pick up the order, they had it all correct, however we were surprised our order was all in styrofoam containers and they included plastic straws for the drinks. These are both bad for the environment, and banned in at least parts of California. East Patio is behind the times.Despite the containers, the food was excellent. Everyone was very happy with their meals. The meals were flavorful, produce seemed fresh, and the portions were generous.I definitely recommend them, but have to take off one star for not being environmentally aware.

Located in Sacramento this Mexican restaurant has all the ambience needed. The staff are friendly greeted with chips and salsa and very attentive service. We ordered the enchilada plate with the crunchy taco. The taco was exceptionally tasty and the rice and beans were delicious. I definitely cannot recommend the enchiladas. The tortillas were very hard and rubbery and lacked a lot of flavor. The Mole sauce was overly sweet. They have a nice variety of beer and margaritas.

This place is excellent! The taste, freshness of ingredients, and the menu of items are all second to none. They are consistently delicious, and never disappoint even when I order through Doordash.
