Dynamic Dancing with Yvette

Full disclosure - I'm a recent addition to the Dynamic Dancing staff, and by March 2018 we will have a total of 4 instructors to lead classes and perform administrative duties. I've only been on staff for 1 year, and my philosophy is that we must always strive to improve - thus my 4-star rating.The Dynamic Dancing class offerings are expanding this year to include more classes for all ages. Our programs for Adults and Seniors include: Stretch & Strength, Creative Movement, Ballet Basics, Belly Dancing, Jazz and a Dance Aerobic program called "Get UP and Dance!" With our 4-person staff we're also offering more of the fundamental classes for children and teens (Ballet, Tap, Jazz, Hip Hop), as well as Dance Exploration and Creative Movement. All of our classes are held at the Woodland Community Center which is responsible for registering and collecting payments. We're working hard with WCC staff to improve and simplify these processes. We hope you'll consider joining our community of families - we're anxious to meet you and work with your children.

PROS: Cares about the kids. CONS: Incredibly unorganized, completely scattered. Classes rarely begin or end on time. Two years after paying for a recital DVD, we're still waiting to receive it. RECOMMENDATION: Find another dance school.

Love the teachers but hate that it's in sessions with huge breaks between. They dance for 4-8 weeks then have 2-4 weeks off. How does that teach the kids anything? As soon as they learn something, they forget. Plus, you have to reenroll constantly. We were disappointed to leave but didn't see much alternative. Really REALLY wish they'd figure out how to have the kids dance consistently.

0 STARS!!Absoulety the worst! Yvette couldn't even return a call. Yvette said my girls could register for dance even though we were late signing up. They would have 6 sessions left out of 8. Then she decided that I would have to pay for all 8 sessions even though 2 classes already passed.Why would anyone pay for something they didnt even attend? No return call from Yvette the business owner and its been 3 days. GREAT WAY TO TREAT BRAND NEW CLIENTS. I have 2 girls to sign up that could have danced for years!!I will not recommend this business to anyone. Goodluck if you do go. Im sorry I even called this woman. All of this over $42. WOW.

DDw/Y is amazing! I've danced with them for about a decade now. All the teachers are extremely kind and knowledgeable. They put together amazing performances every year and classes are easy to register for. I've always felt safe at the community center where classes are held and love participating in general! I definitely recommend giving it a try.
