Dunk 'n' Run Donuts

Their donuts are delicious. My issue is, the pricing. If I go there and buy between 5 to 6 doughnuts I am paying close to $20. Hear me out. Last visit, I got 6 donuts. So the baseline for a half dozen (I have the receipt in my paperwork somewhere) is around $10. But then I got up charged around $1.40 on top of this for each choice I had made. I had ordered, are you ready? A glazed French a chocolate French a maple French an old fashioned glazed an old fashioned chocolate and then a sugar dusted twisted bar with no filling. Total was I think $18.98. I walk in hungry and walk out feeling dumb. Yes. Consistently. But they have good donuts!I always get confused when I purchase there. Coffee is really good. The campfire blend is great. I heard the girl behind the counter tell someone the stronger blend of coffee was the other brew beside campfire blend but obviously campfire blend is the strongest darkest of their brewed coffee. I am obviously very much craving donuts right now and it's raining outside. I am wondering if the owner(s) are willing to pop on here and explain pricing. I'm talking for each donut type, plus croissants. One time I went there specifically to get the ham and cheese and I was told they only had cheese I think and I didn't even know they had that. So again I wonder if the owners could come here, and explain the pricing of the donuts explain the pricing of the type explain the pricing of the half dozen the dozen The croissants the coffee's and the type of coffees they offer. Only from that will I be able to change this review. Thank you so much

Good freshly made donuts in Auburn, Ca My husband stops by on his way to work for his team. He loves their donuts

This donut shop has decent donuts, but they nickel and dime you, and their listed prices are not accurate. First, we ordered 2 ham and cheese croissants (they don't do egg) which were listed as $6.75 each, but they rung up as $7.02 each. Next we ordered half a dozen donuts, which was listed as $10.35, but because we chose donuts other than the plain round ones, we were charged an additional $1.04 per donut. Even their unfilled chocolate bars and maple bars were considered a "fancy" donut with an additional charge. And all of these extra charges were before taxes were added. We don't do donuts often, but we will probably try a different donut shop next time. I really don't appreciate companies that lie about their pricing and nickel and dime you to death.

Will stop for donuts. Yes, I will and do. But I may not stop for a second time if the donuts are a miss. Not to fear, Dunk 'n Run Donuts in Auburn,CA, is a hit. Darn delicious donuts, prices are the going rate, and friendly staff. I was driving down Garden Valley Highway and I eyed the shop sign.I saw the word donut and honed in just like Homer Simpson into a donut trance. D'oh Donuts! I made an U turn to backtrack to the shop. Even though it was past the posted hours of operation, the neon open sign was still flashing. Customers were still buzzing in n out. The young woman working the counter was welcoming. Very patient with everyone and not rushing them through. Great customer service! There wasn't a lot of raised donuts left. So I landed on getting four different kinds of cake donuts. Gorgeous looking... all sitting pretty. They were the best cake donuts I've eaten in a long time. Dense, interior. Mmm. Delicious! Fresh tasting. The icing was perfect. Not sticky, gooey. Not hard that at one bite it cracks right off. Perfect consistency, plus not too sweet. Another cool thing about the shop is it's interior. It has old bones. They have an old fashion diner counter and swivel chairs for eating in. Score! The donuts are kept in a glass case and in baskets on an open shelf. If you're hankering for a donut and are in the area, drop on in.

I love donuts. They have donuts. I love apple fritters. They have apple fritters. Best place in town for donuts. I've been coming here for decades , and I've never been disappointed (as long as they have apple fritters).

We love dunk n run! We stop here & get donuts & also from a coffee shop they deliver to as well. Our favorites are the double chocolate (chocolate cake with chocolate frosting) & the glazed buttermilk- obsessed! We can tell they are always baked fresh. They also serve local coffee that we love. We have dunk n run donuts at least once a week! Great people working there too- always friendly!

So when I try new places out , say for example trying a new mexican spot, I order asada tacos to see the baseline quality .I do the same for glazed donuts at donut shops. And I'm pretty sure it's the best glazed donut I've ever had . Looking forward to trying more !

Got two donuts today out of their fairly empty cases (likely low production) and took two bite of my donut and I'll I tasted was a oil puddle at the bottom, in my opinion over priced donuts. Through them out and went somewhere else for breakfast.

Disappointed is an understatement. I put in an order for 3 dozen donuts two weeks before my baby shower. 3 different types of donuts all with blue icing/frosting since I'm having a boy. I told them when I ordered the donuts that I would need to pick them up the morning of my baby shower. I even asked if they would be ready as early as 7 am that day and they ensured me they would. 3 days prior to my shower I called to make sure the order would still be ready at the right time and they had not forgotten. Everything was good. A day before my baby shower I received a call to clarify the order I had placed. I even have a text message agreeing on the order. I come in the next morning to pick up my order before the shower. She told me that they did not have the order ready and hadn't even started on it. And that it wouldn't be ready till after 12pm that day. They did not offer to find a solution such as deliver them. I walked out with tears in my eyes and regular donuts with no blue frosting for my baby shower.
