Dragon Beaux

Tonight for Valentine's Weekend we decided to pop into the Sky River Casino in Elk Grove. Dim sum was the target and our favorite place there is Dragon Beaux. We have been to Dragon Beaux a few times but first time at the bar. The bar tender Charles took great care of us and really made us feel welcomed with his charm and humor. The place is amazing with the service, lighting, art deco, etc. We had the Mongolian Beef, crab dumplings and sticky rice. A few drinks and in great company. Check out the casino and if you like dim sum, you'll enjoy Dragon Beaux. Don't forget to say hi to Charles.

I have been wanting to come here for awhile I have read good things about this place from various sources. Soup dumplings and Peking Duck are two of my favorite dishes. Dragon Beaux is great for both and I have visited several times so I know these two dishes are consistent. I recently tried the Tiger Prawns in Thai Sauce and I was just blown away. It's a MUST TRY! Dragon beaux has fantastic service. Ling was attentive but didn't hover or make us feel rushed. She came around to check in on us regularly and provided us with top notch service. The space is modern with elegant touches here and there that make the restaurant feel welcoming. The bar has a picture worthy collection of buddhas. Highly recommend grabbing a photo with the Buddhas behind you. Who knows? They may bring you luck since the restaurant is located inside the Sky River Casino. What makes Dragon Beaux special is the most important part of any restaurant. The food. Soup dumplings in a soy ginger bath give a one bite flavor bomb. If assembled correctly (top a dumpling with one or two spoonfuls of soy ginger) then let it cool down and take your bite. Peking Duck has a combination of fatty but crispy skin and tender duck meat. Adding the various accoutrements (melon, green onion, hoisin sauce) elevate the flavor by adding a touch of sweetness to the salty and fatty bite. Words escape me when trying to describe the Tiger Prawns in Thai Sauce. I'm not sure what is in the sauce I just know that it was perfect. The prawns were great quality and the spicy and savory flavors just immediately made it my favorite dish at Dragon Beaux. This place is worth a visit.

So. . . My sister and I hadn't seen each other in a little while so we decided to get together and have dinner here at Dragon Beaux. I have just one word to describe this experience.: phenomenal!!The restaurant is quaint but beautifully designed and it definitely has the vibe for getting together and having a good time while eating great food. Our server Sandy was absolutely amazing. Extremely personable and had very good energy. She was very patient as we tried to figure out what we wanted to try, offering suggestions that turned out to be excellent. I promise you our food started coming out about three minutes after we ordered. We had all of our food within 10 to 15 minutes. And the food was so good.Beautiful decor. Great food. Excellent customer service. I highly recommend this place and I will definitely be back!!

We've been to Dragon Beaux many times and never got disappointed.From the super friendly and attentive waitresses (shout out to Jing), to the great selection of fresh and tasty authentic Chinese cooking in an elegant dining room setting, this place always delivers the goods.It's a great place to celebrate special occasions such as birthdays, graduations or anniversary.We had tried the following dishes and they're all delicious and leaving us wanting more:- spicy seafood dumpling - 5 guys XLB- Dong Po Pork Belly (melts in your mouth)- fried rice with egg white and dried scallops - sweet sour chicken- concubine chicken (similar to empress chicken)- honey walnut shrimp - sautéed vegetable - fish maw sea cucumber soup - braised tofu with bokchoy - truffle duck fried rice Highly recommended!

Located in the Sky River Casino, very nice atmosphere for Chinese cuisine dining. A beautiful restaurant.A decent variety to choose from for dim sum, lunch and dinner.I asked the server, Eric, for his recommendation of people's favorite. He suggested the Wagyu Beef Chow Fun. It's one of my favorite dishes so that's what I chose. The dish included sliced beef, chow fun noodles, red onions and bean sprouts. The meat beef was very tender, noodles were the perfect texture, the red onions added a sweetness, and the bean sprouts barely cooked which gave it a great texture. All the ingredients were very fresh and the dish was plated well, but it lacked a bit in flavor. A soy and chili sauce was provided, but may have enhanced a different type of dish better.I was still satisfied with my plate, which is enough for two, but it was a bit pricey. The chow fun alone, with no drink, totaled $38 with tax and tip.The next time, I'll try the dim sum. It may be more reasonable.Eric, the server, was great. Super nice, and made sure you had everything you need.

Dragon Beaux is a Chinese restaurant unlike any other in the Sacramento area. It is a step above places like Asian Pearl or Well Season, but the price reflects that also. Of course, if you're a gambler, then you will use points toward your bill. The quality of the ingredients certainly reflects that. You can tell the soup stock is actually stock and not powder. The calamari is actually squid and not cuttlefish. The seabass is actually seabass and not escolar or swai. The service is great as always. My only gripe is that they don't have lazy susans to move the food around and the tables are really big. I wish they would change the tables to traditional Chinese restaurant style restaurants.

Very elegant restaurant with a classic decor. They serve traditional Chinese cuisine including dim sum and hot pot. Our server was super friendly and checked back often. We ordered a variety of different dishes and left satisfied. Would definitely recommend.

Stopped in on the way back from a work trip. As we browsed the different dining options, the hostess Jenny sold us on their menu as she talked to us while we looked at the menu outside the restaurant. We were seated quickly and greeted by our server and other employees.Our server Cherry immediately got us ice water and told us that the hostess mentioned that this was our first time here. Cherry kindly went over the menu and made suggestions of what was popular and her preferences. All the staff was extremely attentive, they never let our beverages go under half, they were on top of it. Even filling hot tea when we had the tea pot on the table. We were even offered house made items that are not on the menu. Everything was delicious.The dining room was so cute and beautifully designed. They had really cute tables that have what look like genie lamps.The Mongolian beef was my favorite.Thank you Jenny & Cherry for amazing service and suggestions!
