Food was so good we couldn't leave it alone to take a full picture!Portions are generous, they did not skimp on anything. Great, authentic flavors and textures. Nothing was dry, we picked it up and it was piping hot.Friendly staff & great complimentary salsa bar.Highly recommend!

I am honestly surprised i haven't yet made a review about this taqueria because by far it is the BEST taqueria out here in the sacramento area in my opinion. Moving up here from the bay area, it was so hard finding good, quality mexican food and service. If you're having the same issue, you NEED to try this spot ! All of the food my boyfriend, friends, family or I try has always been amazing. I am not a fan of beans so i get without when i get my al pastor burrito instead of tacos and NOT ONCE have they messed up in the years i've been going. Aside from the amazing food the staff is just the kindest ever, soon as you walk in you are greeted with a smile :) ! One of the staff even asked about my grandma who hasn't come in with me in a while. Favorite spot for mexican food for sure !

I was feeling under the weather so my mom brought me her leftover super burrito to eat since it was so huge, she could only eat half. This was one of the best carnitas burrito that I had in Sacramento. Super delicious, unique flavors. It was so rich and tender and definitely not dry. I can't wait to feel better and try something else from their menu.

This is a true Taqueria. No menu, just the sign over the cashier to make your selection.The friendly cashier took our order, but the choices were pretty basic. Got our drink glasses and headed to a clean table.There were chips under a warming light and we passed on them after glancing at the selection of salsas to go with them.As we waited for our meals to arrive we noticed the liquor store next door was the place to be! A couple diners placed their to go order, then went to the liquor store to imbibe in liquid appetizers.Our meals arrived with good corn tortillas on the side. The Chili Relleno was ok, but it needed a more flavorful sauce. Not sure where the 5 star reviews came from. Perhaps we didn't order their specialties, but doubt if we give it a second chance.

I'd probably give this a 3.5 but they don't let you give .5s. Lol.. My 8 yro son and I stopped for some food. I wanted to try a new Mexican spot. I had one pollo asado taco, carne asada fries and my son had the super nachos with only carne asada, cheese and sour cream (he's picky). Pollo asado taco was the star. (I heard the lady in front of me order it so I thought I should try it) The chicken was tender and well seasoned. The salsas, pickled onions were also very good. Carne asada fries were okay. Fries were a bit over cooked and not enough cheese. Meat was dry, hard and not to flavorful. Super nachos were disappointing for the price. Barely any cheese and the meat again was over cooked dry and flavorless. Food came out with a reasonable time and service was okay. I'll may try it again but I'll order the pollo asado and maybe try the carnitas. We will see.

Just the standard hole in the wall Mexican spot so nothing rave about as far as decor goes, but my Chimichanga was the biggest one I've ever eaten and it was filled with delicious carne asada, rice, beans, and pico, with sour cream and guac on the side. The food also came out quickly and the server was nice.The only minor issue I had with Chimichanga is that it doesn't come with cheese (I'm sure you can add that for an additional fee), but Dos Rios Taqueria still deserves 5 stars. I'll definitely be back.
