Dorothea's Shoppe

Dorothea's is one of my favorite stores for Halloween and Christmas decor. They have the best selection with some unique items you don't see anywhere else. It's in the perfect location too-love Historic Folsom District!

A winter (year-round-open) wonderland of ornaments! A must-visit if you're looking to fashion up your Christmas tree with more ornaments especially unconventional ones (for instance, there's a whole section dedicated to just food/drink-related ornaments). It's worth a peek inside even if you just so happen to be in Folsom Historic District to see how chaotically colorful the shop is lol.

Found this gem while visiting Folsom. What a great shop stuffed full of treasures.You won't be disappointed, it's worth the drive!

Came here while strolling through old Folsom with hubby on a day date trip. I have never been here before and I have never known this place til now. I didn't know what to expect from this place til yℴu walk inside. OOMG it's Christmas time all over again and everywhere and about every single thing you can make into Christmas. The kid me is screaming for joy I'm so amused by everything here to the decor and the choices and endless options I have to pick something out. Yℴu will definitely find something for that person In your life. From sports, cars, toys, music, traditional, cowboy, Disney, cartoons and so so much more. I could really get lost in here for some time. Because I want to look at everything from the colour to detail. I'm definitely an ornament person I make em and buy and give them out. I saw something that caught my eye and it made me instantly think of hubby. I bought it and I'll be hiding top Xmas to give to him. Highly recommended place to have a little fun in and get lost in all ages will ℒℴℯ it, especially the Christmas kid in us.

Absolutely love this store. They have every Christmas ornament you could possibly think of. These ornaments are beautiful ornaments. They are a quality that you won't get at the big box stores. And they are cheaper! I got two ornaments and they were both 9.99! Which is an absolute steal. I love this shop. My only regret is that I don't have more money to buy more ornaments.

Finally made my way over to Dorothea's Shoppe & was so impressed by the sweet service! The gentleman who assisted me was incredibly knowledgeable & so very kind! The shop itself is cute & packed full of fun Christmas decor! I found my husband a wonderful, authentic village piece for our Christmas train set & was so happy with the purchase! Dorothea's Shoppe is absolute worth a visit if you're in the Historic District of Folsom!

This is an exceptional ornament shop in Folsom in the Historic District. Just about every Christmas, Halloween, Easter, and every other holiday you can think of is represented in this shop by the thousands of choices from tree decoration, to static displays, to wreaths, to statues. The staff here is very helpful and they always delicately wrap any purchases for their protection and transportation. See pictures below as a sample if the holiday decorations one can find here. Highly recommend this store for young and old alike.

I came here last weekend with my partner to do some Christmas shopping and browse. We hadn't been to Dorothea's in quite a while and it was nice to see the selection is still amazing--although pricey. There was a young man working there that I had not seen before. He was extremely hardworking and answered all of my annoying questions about the different Knick knacks and ornaments they had. I was looking specifically for cat ornaments and he took the time to lead me to the correct area and let me know to ask if I needed help looking for anything else. Would come back for service alone and the great ornaments are a fringe benefit!

Any time I am walking around Sutter St, I always find myself coming in here. All the different types of ornaments are so cool to look at. I love grab bags and when I went in May of last year they had a whole basket full. They have fun other things too. Always an interesting stop!

We have shopped at Dorothea's for more years then I can remember starting way back with the original owners. We always visit at the holidays it's a tradition that we each pick a new ornament every year. Throughout the year we stop in the add pieces to our Fiestaware collection!
