Dollar Tree

It's a Dollar Tree. They're like any others--understaffed most of the times, stocked some days, empty on others. I'd say just come here if you really don't mind waiting over 7 mins to get checked out even if you only came in for one thing.The employees do the best they can. Some are better than others. And the others don't care as much and will have you wait in an incredibly long line because there's only one register open.

The dollar tree on West Capitol has good employees but not all of them are good there's one lady that's very very nice to me her name is Kim she's very helpful very polite and she is a big big asset to this corporation but do you have other people that work there that are not customer orientated and they need to be trained on how to deal with the public with a positive in a business type of professionalism thank you

HORRIBLE HORRIBLE! Got called a BITCH by a clerk named "Alesha" because I called her out on closing the store 15 minutes early. Doors were locked and a customer who i spoke with as I walked up said their rushing everyone out of the store their trying to close. It's rude to close your doors early and it's even more rude to have staff that's rude! I work in customer service I understand but she crossed the line by calling me a bitch then the assistant manager wants to argue and not tell me till the end that she's the assistant manager and just straight arguing with me because I told them it's not right. I didn't come in at 855 no I came in at 845. It's rude to not let customers in. I will be going to follow up with a manager tomorrow. I often find good things here but man oh man this store is dirty , not organized , and always has bums outside and inside the facility. The workers and cashiers seem miserable here too but sometimes are nice at check out. Hoping this store gets cleaned up one day , I'd love for it to stay open.

This store done magic for my last minute parties, a few memories. .One was buying my mask for masquerade party for texas spring break 2017. It was last minute but i know i need to create a mask and lots of feathers. I wanted a huge feather mask with lots of colors. So here i went to create it on the morning of the event and it came true. I had a ball at the masquerade party rocking it the whole night without regrets. Most complimented and just lots of yassss! .Second is this pink and white party. Last min idea because i knew i would snap some pics and gotta have a cute table in the pic. Welp the bday girl was surprise and wow and I'm sure its memorable for future parties. Simple yet cute and thoughtful set up. .Also love coming here to get my balloons, they are quick to serve you. .As well i like to come here and get my planner stickers, notes, and office supplies just to be more organized. .Overall i like this store. Its my convenient store, shopping on a budget. In and out quick and easily find my stuff. Thanks for reading and party it up!

No stars for this place. This Dollar Store is horrible. First we walk in and I have my small purse that is also a backpack. The clerk tells me that I need to check my backpack...REALLY? It's a small purse that happensto convert to a backpack! He was insistent that I check my purse and I said absolutely not...I'm not leaving my purse with you and I left. I called the store manager and she said I am fine to come back in and I told her no thank you I will never be back to this store.

I love this store. Most of the workers with the exception of maybe 1 have been nothing but professional and nice. Also I'd like to thank whoever turned in my wallet today. Whoever u are, I pray your life is filled with nothing but blessings and happiness.

Please be careful... Rosie the cashier is the very worst!!! Changes double, in a sarcastic tone demands handicap customers to move carts, so Rosie doesn't have to... when there are plenty up front. Today I walked in the store thinking she would not be there I was wrong & of course she shout off her mouth again. Watch out for Rosie

The management. I was there earlier today and was deeply disappointed. And older Indian lady with a strong accent came in to the store shortly after I did and was asking for a few things, the cashier did show her where things would be, and went back to the front. I helped her find her items because he led her in the wrong direction. She followed me up to the register and stopped at the coke dispenser, and had to ask the manager three times just to get her attention. She asked if they had coke zero and how much it was. The manager walked over like she was annoyed and walked her through how to open and close the door in a very sarcastic tone, treating her like she was stupid and not even answering her original questions. She tossed the can in the customers cart and walked away, as the customer was still asking questions. Ive never seen a manager act like this seeing this made me genuinely upset, will not be coming back!

Alex the cashier at this location is so RUDE and grumpy. Taking out his anger in customers is unexceptional. He was rude to an older gentleman ahead of me then he gave me an attitude that I didn't ask for. Like wtf is his problem. He should not work with people if he does not like 'certain' ones. Jerk. I also made a complaint to corporate. Hopefully they deal with this until then I will no longer be shopping here.
