Delhi Bazaar

Stopped by Delhi Bazaar in search for a dress and suit for a traditional Indian wedding. We were greeted in a most friendly way by the owners. They were extremely pleasant and helpful in finding us exactly what we were looking for a a very fair price. I'd highly recommend this store!

Incredibly kind and helpful. Came in looking for some ingredients to a dish I'd never cooked before. Felt a little embarrassed that I didn't know where things were or what they looked like. Shop person walked me through it all. Thank you so much!

Amazing husband and wife the owners. I have to say thank you for being there always. This is probably the only Indian grocery store that I love going to. Owner is always nice and has mostly all the stuff you looking for. Very sweet couple and they remember every time you visit the store. The other day he was closing at 6pm I called around 5:30 and asked him if he can wait for me just little bit longer as I was stuck in traffic without hesitation he said yes I will wait so for that I have to say thank you for waiting.

I happened to be in the area and saw the store and wondered if they had some beautiful tunic shirts available. The place is half grocery store, half a clothing store. It was early in the day, and there were two people in the store. I can't help but feel like neither one of them cared if I wanted to buy anything and so I was basically ignored. I slunk out of there after spending a few minutes going through the racks and realizing neither one of them would be available to answer some of my questions. Maybe I came at the wrong time and they just opened, so they were busy with that?

Great shopping. I hope you have a map or gps. It's a storefront. Mainly they are wholesale, but on the side they opened a shop because they had extra space. There are two rooms. Lots of pulses in the back. I had a great time. Ghee, chutney, papadams, yogurt. A few pots and pans. Nice family business. Great prices.

I drove here in hopes to buy henna. Don't let the outside fool who, it's pretty sweet inside, smaller than you would think for a grocery store.They have food and a section with cultural Indian apparel and more. I was able to get two tubes of premixed and ready to go henna for a very inexpensive price as well as some naan. The staff was unbelievably friendly. I believe it was a husband and wife owners, the wife seemed to have a little trouble understanding me at first. I got what I came for and of course more. Definitely worth a stop in!

I love this little shop! Right when I walked in a lady came from behind the desk to help me with finding an Indian suit. She helped me find my correct size and let me try on what I wanted. She then helped me find bangles to match in my size! It didn't look like a huge selection of clothes, but there were lots of fabrics, so I definitely think if I had more time to explore there would be a ton of options. Next time I'll definitely check out the groceries. :)

It's like any Indian grocery store in Sacramento. But the owners are really nice and friendly people. I even tried their homemade chappatis (10 big rotis @$5~)and there are extremely delicious.

It's a great store, we get all our Indian and Fijian food items from here. Owners are really friendly and helpful.

No customer service whatsoever! They don't care if the customer has experienced inconvenience because of them. Plus, they will blame you for their faults. Please don't ever get your shalwar suits sewn from them ; they will ruin your expensive suits and charge you extra. I know I will never be shopping or getting my suits done at this place.. I basically paid $85 to get my suits ruined from them. :( so not happy!!!
