Del Valle Antojitos Y Neveria

I just recently visited Del Valle Antojitos y Neveria (located on the side of Del Valle Supermarket), and ordered a custom banana split. I can't believe this place only has one Yelp review so far! Their concha ice cream sandwiches are all over Instagram. I was going to order a concha ice cream sandwich, but they had already sold out of their conchas (which they bake fresh in store each morning) for the day. The shop was so cute, and highly Instagrammable. The walls are painted pink, and decorated with die-cut wooden posters of Mexican sweets.The staff was super patient, friendly, and helpful. I asked if I could change out the flavors and toppings in the banana split, and they said 'Of course!'For my ice cream flavors, I asked for Pistachio, Ferrero, and Strawberries with queso. For toppings, I asked for Fruity Pebbles and Sour Gummy Worms, but she also added the standard coconut and granola, which came out delicious. There was also whipped cream, chocolate sauce, cherries, sprinkles, and of course, the banana. (I also saw a Gansito split option on Instagram.)Their ice cream is made in house, and it shows in the flavor. My favorite ice cream was the Strawberries with queso, and then the Nutella.Although I liked the Pistachio flavor, I thought that it was way too heavy on the Pistachio extract. I was thinking that it probably needs an alcohol content warning (as the extract contains about 35% alcohol). Overall, this was probably the best banana split I've ever had in my life. This shop is so cute, and they offer all kinds of Mexican snacks and desserts, like mangonadas, fresas con crema, elote, Doritos locos, etc. All of their goodies are made "extra," as in lovingly, over the top, and cute enough to show off on Instagram. In addition to the regular concha ice cream sandwiches, which come with two scoops of ice cream, they also have a mega concha, which comes with five scoops, and is meant to serve at least two people. In addition to the regular mangonada, they also offer a 'Del Valle' version with house made chamoy, chamoygetti, a tamarind cuchara and straw, and other Mexican candies (this is what I want to try next).This shop reminds me of the shops I go to when I visit my family in Southern California. This is the first time I've found anything as good in NorCal!I'm so glad I found this place. I'll definitely be back!

After dinner sweet tooth hit and we were close to this and since it has been all over my Instagram feed, it was just meant to be. I've been seeing their concha ice cream sandwich and so that's what I got, filled with fruity pebbles ice cream and strawberries. My daughter got their fresas con crema which she enjoyed but was unaware it came with coconut as well so she'll get it without that next time. My ice cream sandwich was just as good as the IG pictures looked. Obviously the ice cream melts and makes the concha mushy so it's best to eat right away versus taking it home. Del Valle Neveria is inside the Del Valle supermarket but is easy to spot because it's decked in lots of pink! Overall, my craving was satisfied and I'll for sure be back again. I'd recommend checking out their IG for all their specials.

I saw this place while driving by and decided to check it out. They have so many ice cream flavors, snacks and desserts.You can pick out your own ice cream flavor popsicle and choose a dip and toppings. A super cute idea for kids or those who love sugar. Service was fast and friendly. I will definitely be back to try another fun new flavor.

Food and ice cream are yummy and fresh. The location is adorable and has various ice cream flavors and options. Definitely recommend. The service is great as well.

This is truly a hidden gem. The staff was so friendly and the ice cream was amazing. The banana paleta was a delightful surprise with the peanuts and the mango ice cream was even better. This was a fun trip with the family on a hot day and we will be making more visits.
