I've been here a handful of times now and each time has always been pleasant. There's a place like this that my mom and I frequent in the Bay Area that I miss. We like to get the salted plums, gooseberry and prunes. I've also tried the beef jerkies here. The staff are nice depending on the day. The only thing I noticed today was that they didn't have any containers or napkins to use when you're sampling. I had to find where to throw the seeds and good thing I had an old napkin with me. The other downside was that you have to buy a minimum of half a pound. What if you don't want a half pound and only want a quarter? Especially if you plan to get more than 1 item you should be allowed to get less than half a pound. They also charge an added amount if you use a credit card but the lady today was nice enough to let us pay with the extra charge since all of us purchased different things. The place overall was nice and clean and I may go back when time permits it as the location is of a distance for me.

Saw the shop as I was waiting on an order next door. Place was so cool. Very clean. Large and varied selection of dried fruits and jerkies. They also have some specialty candy. Service was great. I was greeted as soon as I entered and they helped me bag my selection. I ended up getting some dried plums and some flavored prunes. I'll definitely be back!

Vast array of specialty teas, sweets, snacks and dried jerky offerings. Pushy service staff trails you on the floor. Narrow aisles. Exorbitant prices per pound.

This little shop is cool and some stuff reminds me of stuff my folks got me in SF when my younger sis and I were kids. Like the chinese beef jerky with the fur on it. Haha. It is like a curry jerky. Super yum. My dad would like dried prunes that are hella sour to keep him awake on long drives. Lmao. True and it worked for him. Lol.Well this shop has an immense selection of jerky of all Asian ethnicities, prunes, salted plums, dried fruits, dried healthy stuff like ginger and ginseng etc. Prices are top shelf so be careful and tread lightly. The owner lady is really nice and helpful. A nice shop to visit to revel in some of these cool snacks you usually find in Chinatown.

Much less high pressure like so many other location. Small and clean with. Good selection and variety. Still expensive but everything tasted good. They were very friendly to give samples and didn't try to force more than you wanted. The had glitteri candy and yummy homemade flan as well as the standard Asian dried fruit, meat, and seafood.

This store was across the street from our UYE this morning at Hao Bao Dumpling House. I saw "Jerky" on the front of the building and of course, I wanted to get some. They have maybe three dozen bins of different types of jerky. It's mostly beef and just a little pork. It's $11.95 a half pound and I don't know how that compares to other places that sell jerky in bulk. You have to buy at least the half-pound minimum. I bagged up 6 or 7 different ones with different types flavoring on them. I just made the half-pound minimum or she said I did. I should have looked at the scale. I get out a card to pay with and they stupidly have a minimum of $15.00 on a credit card. The store is well stocked, but I only looked at the jerky.I tried some of each different flavoring when I got home. They all tasted about the same, just some were spicier than others. Some are very, very sticky and I had to really scrub my fingers after eating it. One type is hard enough it could damage a tooth. I'm not that impressed and probably won't go back.

Although this store is translated as "The number 1 place for beef jerky" this place has all kinds of dried fruits/roots like plum, mango, ginger and peach. They also have a variety of Vietnamese pantry items like the Vietnamese/French butter they put on Vietnamese sandwiches and Asian candies.The lady that helped us offered samples and was quick. Definitely a place to stop at if you want to explore new flavors.

Haven't ever had jerky that wasn't from a grocery store, so I stopped in here while waiting for bahn mi's next door. They had all kinds of jerky and other dried meats, lots of dried fruits, and some freezer / fridge stuff like meat buns.A lady comes over and asks me what I've looking for, I asked her for spicy beef jerkies. She pointed out a few and asked if I wanted a sample, I said no thanks I'll just take a half pound of those mix & matched. Super pleasant experience.It's been a few days of snacking on it, but I think I got three flavors; BBQ, 5 spice & curry beef. The BBQ & 5 spice were very good, a little messier than most jerky I've had, but tons of flavor with mild to medium spice. The curry one I didn't care for very much, it was a nice texture just not my cup of tea flavor wise. I would definitely go again, I'd be interested in trying some of the seafood options, some of the freezer items, and more jerky flavors. Not really sure what to say about the price, beef jerky is always expensive, so it didn't seem out of the ordinary to me. I love specialty places like this.

If you are a jerky fanatic I suggest you swing by here. The customer service is amazing. The staff greet you as you enter ad ask if you need assistance, in other words let them serve you. Staff will pick up a sealable bag, and let you sample certain jerky's. We ended up purchasing 1/2 lbs. of the honey spicy jerky which is delish! Can't wait to return to try some of their dried fruits and more jerky!

i always stop here to buy the salted plums for my parents. They have a wide variety. The beef jerky is great. Repeat customer here!
