The chefs here are exemplary! The food is always amazing and served beautifully from the kitchen. We have celebrated many special occasions and holidays. It has been 22 years since our first dinner here. Amourath is also a wonderful venue to have a cocktail and appetizer. Great people work there, as well.

This was the other place I tried for DD week. I missed it last year so made sure to get in this year. The placed is inside the Hyatt and it was really nice. The restaurant has a lot of room and there were a lot of people there for dinner. Parking can be in the garage next to the hotel or street parking. I split the appetizer with my friend and both were good. We also got a basket of free bread and salted butter. I love bread and butter. For the entree, I got the braised pork and my friend got the market fish. Both were good, but I would've preferred the pork if the meat wasn't too dry. For dessert, we split that as well and I got the chocolate while my friend got the chestnut. Both were good and I don't have a preference for one over the other. Service was top notch and entertaining, as the waiters pulled out their charm and flirted with my friend, who ate it up like white on rice. It was amusing to see it in action since it worked and my friend wanted to leave a bigger tip since "they [waiters] were so nice". I was ignored for the most part, but I wouldn't have fallen for their... Charm like my friend did. LolGood on the waiters though. They deserve it. I will try this place again, but sparingly.

Dine downtown this year 2025 was amazing. .I really liked the duck confit pot pie. The crust was flaky and buttery and light which I love. The flavor of the duck was good to. We really love the sauce with the pot pie. .Main entree was the braised short rib with beef, which I found a bit dry so I replaced it with the market fish. My friends beef short rib was better than mines. .Market fish for dine downtown was monk fish. It was so good my friend kept on attacking my plate. I say that I always have good taste and she always steal my food, she lucky I love her or else no more bites next time. .Mont blanc for dessert was amazing. I love sweet potatoe and chest nut everything so it was amazing to me. Definitely quality. .Service was on top part. Great and quick on requests. Also the vibe here is cozy and comfortable seating. Hope this review helps and thanks for reading. Have a yelptastic day.

5 years later, the bar at this restaurant is still the bomb! Mason is one of the best bartenders I've encounter; he's very knowledgeable on craft cocktails & mixologies. The beef carpaccio was my absolute fav! So good I had it the next day.

Went here for 2025 dine downtown and it was great! The portions of each entree was prefect and wasn't skimping! I was soo full by the end of the night. I got the duck confit pot pie - very very delicious but I would love for it to be a bit hotter in temperature... but I sure would definitely get it again if they add it to their menu! The short rib was delicious. We added a side of the wild mushroom and amazing! It just added to the dish and made it that much better. The dessert Mont Blanc, wasn't what I was expecting but it was delicious! Not too sweet, real creamy and paired very well with a cup of French press coffee! I kept dipping it in the coffee and the aroma was wow! All the service crew was welcoming and great of how service should be! The place feel is fancy

Our server Juan went above and beyond to make our experience great. We ordered from the dine downtown menu. The bread is amazing and they are not stingy with the butter! Both appetizers were very good but the star was the duck pot pie. The short rib was great, However the market fish entree was lacking in flavor and very over cooked, the accompaniment was disjointed. The marquise was great, as were the croissant crostini that came with it. The Japanese style dessert was appreciated for being so out of the box but didn't quit deliver. More crème anglais would have been nice and either the chestnut center or the sweet potato outside should have been a lighter fluffier consistency to balance each other out. The wine pairings were lovely and well curated.

Best part of dinner was our company and our waiter, as he was very professional and accommodating. Steakhouses should wow with their cuts of meat but I can't say Dawson's does. The prime rib and porterhouse were skinny! We didn't come for hot pot lol Ordered caviar to start but why would they pair it with crumbly French toast sticks and dense sour cream ?! On to the next.

Been a year since I've eaten here but really was feeling like meat mood. The food was excellent. Right down to French pressed coffee to top off the night. The service was good attentive but not smothering. The ambiance classic steak house. I brought my 15 year old here for dinner and he loved it.

Consistently wonderful!! From the time we arrived just before closing until the time we left. The service was impeccable! The Waiter and support staff was attentive and so kind. We placed our order starting with Caesar salads, followed by our Chilean sea bass that totally melted in your mouth. The purée cauliflower and polenta were so delicious. I am a fan of Fleming's Steakhouse and Morton's, but Dawson's Steakhouse food and service is #1.

We went for Dine Downtown on Saturday night and ordered the duck confit pot pie, split the short rib and market fish, and split the chestnut mont blanc and chocolate olive oil marquise. The duck confit was amazing, definitely try that while you can. I liked the market fish more than the short rib but both were good, but the market fish was savory and unique. Both desserts are definitely worth trying. Service is great here as always, I'll be back.
