High energy vibes, well-thought-out space, great equipment + training! This is an all-around amazing spot to dive into, commit, or continue on your athletic journey...whatever stage you might be at. I have really appreciated both the quality, detail-oriented, and inclusive nature of the group strength training classes. I've also felt super comfortable during open gym despite which has been awesome. But I think what I have appreciated the most is the challenging nature of each class + paired with positive psychological motivation! It's just such a great mix for personal growth. Strongly recommend taking the time to stop by to check out this space and making sure to talk to the founders + trainers, Drew and Yijie, about your goals!

I was vacationing in Winters, CA for three weeks. I needed a gym where I could continue my training while away from home. A quick search of the surrounding area I stumbled upon Davis Strength and Conditioning. The gym literally had everything I needed. With plenty of racks for squats, bench, overhead press and room for deadlifts. The best part was they had weekly and monthly memberships available, perfect for the time I was to be in town. The owners Yijie and Drew were responsive to emails and welcomed me on my first day as though I was a long time member. Open gym times were convenient and provided more than enough time to get my training in. The vibe in the gym was very motivating. I would highly recommend Davis Strength and Conditioning to any residents in the area or traveling through. I'll definitely be back when I'm in the area again!

I've been going to the gym for a few months while on a fellowship at UC Davis, and I've been so impressed. The instructors make weight lifting accessible for anyone ; I'd never lifted before and was a bit nervous, but they made me so comfortable. As a woman who's never lifted, I get apprehensive at crossfit gyms and other places because they are so male dominated with testosterone fueled masculine energy. But here, I've been delighted to see so many women attend the classes -- in fact, I've been in a few women-only classes. And while it's accessible, it's still rigorous. I've learned so much and gotten way stronger. Honestly, this gym is what I'll miss the most when I move!

This gym is awesome and I highly recommend it! As a beginner to strength and conditioning, I was a little hesitant to sign up at first, but I tried out a class and loved it! The instructors are friendly and always willing to help. Since it's a small gym, I felt that I got a lot of personalized attention as I learned new lifts and movements. People of all skill levels attend the classes and the instructors do a great job of tailoring the exercises to accommodate this. The other gym members are also really nice and encouraging. If you're looking for a gym where you will feel welcomed and get a great workout, look no further!

I have been into athletics and lifting weights for a long time. Usually in a solitary sport and lifting by myself. The grind of that can be tough, and this gym was a huge breath of fresh air for me. I've really enjoyed the classes they provide. They focus on true long-term improvement and fitness, combined with a daily variety of exercises and proper technique training really helped. They found my weak points quickly and helped me strengthen them. The ability for the owners to adjust the set plan for my specific needs was a blessing, and now I'm able to do much more than before. It is my favorite part of the day.

This gym is awesome! The trainers really know what they're doing and they can help you achieve whatever your goal is, whether you're an athlete or just someone looking to get in a good workout. It's always fun and the community of people here are great. Can't see myself going to any other gym!
