We'd just left an amazing wine tasting nearby so, didn't really expect to have 2 amazing tastings in 1 area..but here we were at Davis Dean, enjoying every single wine that was poured!I thought his Chardonnay was really great in the tasting room, but it didn't translate as well when we had it at home. However, the Pitch Black Petite Syrah was pretty amazing! It almost felt like a port. All his wines felt well balanced and blended with perfection!Very cool guy who owned the place was serving up the wines and made us feel welcomed and at ease.I heard him thanking some Yelpers for coming in and I reminded myself to check in...low and behold he had a 15% off deal and I used the hell outta that...you should too!

Marshall is an excellent owner and his knowledge of wine was very interesting to listen too.

Great wines and loved the owner so friendly. He sweetly translated everything he was telling us about the wines in Spanish for my father in law. Will definitely keep coming back.

The entire building and all its occupants are amazing. Wines here are pretty good and the workers make great conversation. When you're done go have the bbq next door or pizza at Old Town Pizza. Want dessert when you're done, well Old Town has you covered - ice cream downstairs.

We stumbled across Davis Dean Cellars nearly 2 years ago when we relocated to the Lincoln area. Fabulous wines and fantastic service. Although the zin's are delicious, my favorite is the Pitch Black Petite Sirah! Tasting is free and they have just established a wine club! A definite must if your in the area.

Loved their Zinfandels and the winemaker poured our tastings and was very nice! Great stop to hit up on the Placer Wine Trail! We will be back!

This is the first wine that I can get my husband to drink because there are no headaches and no hangovers! We inquired to find this is a boutique wine that is personally and organically tended to by the owner Marshall. We have never had a bad bottle and we have never been so educated by an owner than before this. DDC is our favorite winery! They won't be a secret for long!!

The wines are excellent and priced well. The owner is very friendly and informative. We loved their Zins. Def worth a stop in Lincoln for a tasting! I'll be back for sure.
