Dat Ky - Hu Tieu Nam Vang

Visited for the first time from Vallejo. My husband ordered the Bun Bo Hue and I ordered some steak pho. The broth for both was so good that we almost didn't feel the need to add sriracha or oyster sauce, I mean really good! 10/10I ordered an avocado smoothie which was SUPER creamy, but sadly tasted nothing like avocado. It was just like green whipped cream. Very disappointing 0/10. We would definitely go back for any soup.

The food here is incredible! We got the beef pho, beef stew noodles and lemongrass chicken and everything was great. The owner was super nice and friendly too. will definitely be coming back.

I want to start by expressing my gratitude to the owner for reaching out and making an effort to address my previous experience. I apologize for not responding in a timely manner. As I mentioned previously, Dat Ky has the best Hu Tieu in town, and I was eager to give it another chance, especially since I had been craving their Hu Tieu.After my son's appointment, we headed to Dat Ky for lunch, and I was pleasantly surprised by the improvement in service. The server, who I had a less-than-ideal experience with previously, was very friendly and attentive. There was also a woman (possibly a manager) who checked in on us regularly and made sure we had everything we needed.After our meal, we ordered some food to go. The food was good! I've tried nearly everything on the menu except for the pho, and every dish I sampled was great. My son loves their rice plates. I will definitely be returning and will recommend Dat Ky to my friends and family.I believe lunch is the best time to visit Dat Ky.And if you haven't tried their Bo Ne yet, I highly recommend it! In my opinion, Gao Viet's Kitchen's Bo Ne and Bo Tai simply can't compare to Dat Ky in terms of flavor and price.

I have been wanting to try this place for sometime but due to their hours, it has been a little challenging.I finally got to try it and it did not disappoint! I'm always looking for a good bowl of bun bo hue and I really like the one that I had here. It had all your traditional ingredients, especially the pork blood. The last few bun bo hue that I had didn't have that and that was a disappointment.I really like the cute décor of this place. It seems that they put a lot into the details. Did you noticed that the lamp covers were straw hats? Service was excellent. The owner is a super nice guy and hospitable. Will definitely be back to try their other dishes!

I love this place! My favorite dish is the SN4 hu tieu dai nam vang, Phnom penh soup with clear noodle dry version. I highly recommend the dry version over the soup version. Not sure what is in the sauce, but it is so flavorful and tasty! It also comes with broth on the side. I crave this dish weekly.

I wanted to try this place for so long, but when I finally did, it was a huge disappointment. The food did not meet my expectations, whatsoever. The broths for the dishes were watered down. The worst part was the horrible lack of service. The lady was curt when she took our orders and then nowhere to be found for the rest of the time. Don't come here.

Friendly staff, food is good as well. I normally just get the seafood hu tieu with broth on the side. It's a good portion too because I get full before I even can finish it all. Cravings definitely get satisfied when I want hu tieu.

Decent Vietnamese restaurant. Had the grilled pork chop with shrimp cake. Generous amount of food presented in a pretty bowl presentation. Friendly service.

Passing through on the way home and stopped by this restaurant. Presentation and organization of the dish just not there. Just like they in a rush and just threw stuff in the bowl. I ordered dry and came out with sauce almost mid bowl. Just not my style.

It was my first time visiting this place with my fiancé and his cousin for lunch. We were seated immediately and excited to try the food.Five minutes after we sat down, an old lady came by and asked if we were ready to order. We told her we needed more time, and she said okay and left. However, she returned within three minutes and asked again if we were ready. We politely said we needed a bit more time, but instead of leaving, she stood next to us, waiting. It was very uncomfortable trying to look at the menu with her standing there, breathing down our necks. I asked her again to please give us some time, and that we'd call her when we were ready to order. Her response was, "You don't know what to get?" I explained that there were a lot of good choices, and it was hard to decide, so we just needed more time.Food: 2/5 - Both the dry noodles and rice came out cold.Service: 1/5 - Being rushed and micromanaged while looking at the menu was not enjoyable.
