Quite a bit going on here, but the main parts are a crispy Romano cheese over acquerello congee... which is a Chinese rice porridge.
Love this door handle ! It's all in the details !

Food: 3/5Service: 5/5Price: 5/5Ambiance: 5/5Drinks: 4/5Fantastic speakeasy in the heart of downtown Roseville. I only tried the Parmesan fries for food, so I cannot fully rate that aspect. Will and Danika were bartending while I was there. The drinks were fantastic. The team is personable. I will happily return.

Went a few weeks ago. Looked at the Yelp reviews and it was 50/50. For an expensive place I expected a more than average. Didn't notice all the good reviews were a year or older. Almost all the bad reviews from this year. Was really really bad. Can you rate a place in stars ?

*management is now trying to block individuals from social media who leave negative reviews. Owner also states he has no obligation to patron but to serve food. His words through email exchange! PEOPLE BEWARE OF THIS RESTAURANT! Unless you like wasting hundreds of dollars for absolutely nothing HUGE LET DOWN DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY

I really really really wanted to love this place. I had been wanting to go FOREVER! I love the concept. Cute idea, with a darling little candy store, with a big door that opens, with a silly big key after you give the secret password. It opens to a beautiful bar with a cozy relaxing high-end vibe. That is the concept. BUT in actuality...you walk into disappointing chaos driven candy store. We arrived and there was no organization or mystery. It was crowded and no one seemed to know what was happening. We were told it would be 1 1/2 hour wait (we arrived without reservation as you can ONLY make them for dinner.) We were fine with that as we are super flexible. Headed to the bar across the street to wait. We sit down at the bar and literally 3 minutes later they call us to say they can accommodate our party of 8. Yay!Nope...we arrive back to the bar and we have to sit apart. Five at the bar and three across the restaurant. Whatever...we are flexible. The inside bar does have a great ambiance and has a secret hidden vibe to it BUT they seemed sooooo unorganized and irritated that they were working. Service was basically non-existent for the three in our party that sat apart from the five. We had to order for our group and make sure it was delivered to them. The food bar was ok-ish. Very expensive for what you got. The cocktails were good. Now here's the crazy part...we left cash for part of our bill...which it appears the server thought that was the tip?! and then charged us the full amount on the credit card (party of 8 w/drinks and apps.) Basically got a 40% tip. I did not keep the receipt...why would I?! I noticed about 5 days later after reviewing my credit card statement. I have to say this is a first. Not sure if it's a one off. Maybe honest mistake? So many other places to visit...won't be back or recommend

Such a cool experience! It was my first speakeasy in Roseville and it didn't disappoint! There was about 1.5 hour wait however they will text you and hold your place for 5 mins. Luckily there's a bar across the street where you hang out before going in. Service was great! I saw the kitchen but didn't order any food since we ate at the bar across the street during our wait. I will have to check out their menu next time I'm there. Drinks are a bit on the sweeter side and pricey, but it's expected at any speakeasy

We had the most delightful time celebrating a very big birthday last night. It was a good thing we had reservations because they were packed. They give you the secret passcode when you confirm your spot. We entered through the magic door and were off on our grand adventure. We opted to stay in the lounge area and enjoy dinner because there is a rather steep flight of stairs that would have been difficult for my husband to maneuver. The decor in the lounge along with the cocktail menu is just intoxicating. I would love to go back when there are not so many people (noise). Patti took excellent care of us and was charming and gracious. She generously offered us some bubbles while we waited for our cocktails. We shared the prawn sundae which was perfectly seasoned. We opted for two the pasta entrees, both exquisite and then shared a miso caramel dessert (not pictured). We will definitely be back!

What a disappointment. I had planned a Friday night out for a large group (18) to celebrate my friend's milestone birthday - to include dinner at a nearby restaurant and then to head over to Daniellos speakeasy for drinks.Knowing that such a large group could be difficult to accommodate, I called 3 weeks prior to ask if we could make a reservation. I was told they don't make reservations but that the night of, I could check in with them on our way to dinner so they would have ample time to likely accommodate our group once we returned after dinner. And I was also told that they would make a note that a large group was coming in on that date. The night of, about 4 hours prior to our expected arrival time, I called again to reiterate our plans and explained what the lady who helped me when I called 3 weeks prior, had suggested about checking in on the way to dinner. The lady who I spoke with this time said she didn't have any note that a large group was coming in and I would have to come in "after" dinner to put our group on the list and that it may be a short wait. So after dinner, we all show up and two ladies at the front (who were not at all friendly) add my name and state that it's a 1 hour, 45 minute wait & they would text me when we could return. We hung around the front / candy shop area for about 10 minutes deciding which bar we'd head to while waiting for the text and during this time, they let 3 smaller walk-in groups of people in. A little frustrating but oh well, we headed over to House Divided and had a great time there!P.s. I never did receive a text from Daniellos ... Guess their estimated 1 hour, 45 min wait time extended to 3 hours & expired at midnight.

My husband and I recently celebrated our anniversary at Daniello's, and it was nothing short of magical! We were both blown away by the experience. The storefront is a charming little candy shop, but the real magic happened when we told them the secret password and got to enter the speakeasy. Walking through that door literally felt like stepping back in time! The food was incredible. I had the steak, and my husband enjoyed the rabbit, both cooked to perfection. I don't drink so I asked the bartender to make me something fun. It was the perfect evening! Thank you for making our anniversary unforgettable!

The entire concept is amazing. The bar, drinks (and their names!) were wonderful. Service was fine, although our apps came before our drinks. Our group of 6 started with apps- shrimp cocktail, lobster arancini and oysters were amazing. The bread they give you was out of this world. Then came time to order. Expensive, but somewhat expected. We were there for good food, no matter the price. We were sadly disappointed. My husband ordered the fish-- was definitely not deboned and not worth what we paid. I ordered the Cacio e Pepe. I have yet to ever send anything back that I've ordered and wasn't fond of (still haven't) but I came DAMN close. It was nothing just veggies with thick green noodles. Cacio e Pepe literally is cheese and pepper- don't try and make it something it's not. the noodles weren't even close. needless to say, we spent $200 and left starving and disappointed. We will happily go back for drinks, but elsewhere to eat.
