Looked up for a Good Black own Bbq Spot , This place popped up , drove 1hr Ribs, Tri Tip was out of this world tri tip seasoned very well , ribs mmmm just right off the bones !! Service was excellent , restaurant was very nice with nice music , also have a Bar side with options of , Beer ! All kind of people was coming thru door left n right !! I really loved this place the lunch price was very good for amount of food you get , you get a lot !!Loved the Mac n Cheese , Greens yesss !!Will be back !!

Some of the best BBQ in the area! This spot is family owned and operated, and it's obvious that they care about their craft. The service is very friendly and welcoming. They're located in a small parking lot but I've always been able to find parking. They usually have a longer wait (around 30 minutes) but they do offer pick up service. I love their mac and cheese, potato salad, and pulled pork. Their prices are reasonable ($15 for lunch with extra charge for certain options).The restaurant has plenty of seating, bright lighting, plants, and beautifully natural ambience.

Food: 5/5Service: 4/5Ambiance: 5/5Seating: 4/5Parking: 4/5A great place for delicious BBQ from a locally-owned business. Lots of free, unlimited parking from the medium-sized parking lot. Albeit, the parking lot is a little run-down with a couple pot holes but still free parking. You walk in and order then seat yourself anywhere and they'll bring out your order to you. The customer service is always kind, though a bit slow so prepare to wait for your meal for a bit. Indoors is decorated very nicely with lots of plants and a large tinted window to bring lots of sunlight in. A lot of indoor seating with standard metal chairs that can get uncomfortable to sit on after a long time. The Mac n Cheese is so good, very flavorful and cheesy, perfect if paired with Pulled Pork. This time I also ordered 1/2 chicken, the meat is deliciously seasoned and tender inside. The meal comes with two Hawaiian Bread rolls and a tangy BBQ sauce. The potato salad is good, nothing too unique about it. Overall, a great spot for BBQ and you're supporting a small, local business!

Went in today for the first time. They had the cutest kid at the counter taking orders. They were very packed, the dining area was clean with comfortable decor. We ordered two rib & brisket plates. The meat was very good. The Mac & cheese was okay (too much cheese not enough noodles), yams were burnt , greens lacked flavor and the potato salad was too tart. I asked for a sample while ordering of the potato salad , it's my favorite side and I'm very picky. They declined and sure enough I regretted ordering it. I didn't appreciate the lack of service after receiving our food. No one once asked if we needed anything or checked on us. We also had to ask for our table to be cleaned.

Haven't been here in a few months so I drove from bay area last week. Got a 2meat combo of double ribs w/2 sides mac n cheese, greens & extra side of potato salad. I forgot to get their yams, they are the best I've ever had. Ribs are still juicy and tender as ever. Everything was delicious. Worth the drive. This has been my barbeque place since my sister referred me 2 years ago.

Im a sucker for southern bbq and that's a really tough find here in California. Traditional southern bbq, like the food they serve here, is insanely time consuming and takes a serious amount of experience to accomplish. It's actually one of the more fascinating cuisine options because it's so simple, but so easy to screw it up if you don't have the patience and experience of a live wood fire. Now, I didn't see the smoker til we headed to the car and algae already devoured our dinner. If you're not familiar with smoking meats, this smoker is the exact opposite of your fancy pants pellet smoker. This massive smoker requires a pit master and every detail is mastered by hand and by eye. It's absolutely amazing how they can toss a slab of ribs and brisket in a smoker and let it work its magic. I'm obsessed with this place and I want to learn how to cook like this. Food:2 meat 2 sides and 2 rollsBrisket - deeply mahogany exterior with the fatty side rendered to perfection and seasoned exceptionally well. Simply salt and pepper I think. Tender, juicy, fatty, moist perfection. Burnt ends too and it was delicious. Pork ribs - absolutely delicious and perfectly seasoned. Fall apart as you take a bite and flavor explosion. No need for sauce but I tried it because I always want to taste flavors and combos. Really well done and super flavorful. Collard greens - not exactly the favorite of west coast peeps but I love collards. I love the simple and soulful preparation of greens and the texture and salty flavors are fantastic. Collard greens are an absolute staple of Southern cooking and this version was excellent. I love the flavor profile of collards they have been cooked properly. Beans - really flavorful and the right level of sweetness to offset the fatty goodness of bbq meat. Really good. Slaw - meh, it was okay. I'm not a big fan of slaw but I wanted something cold and this is decent. This is my new go to BBQ shop and I cannot wait to go back for more and try the Mac n cheese and tri tip and chicken and sausage. I am super impressed with this shop and I have mad respect for the staff, who clearly put in the effort to accomplish authentic and genuine bbq. Mad love fam.

We were in the area for Baseball, visiting from the Bay Area. I just about ordered 1 of everything from the menu. 10/10! My husband is born & raised in Oakland, where they have a lot of soul food, & he's usually not easily impressed, but he gave them 10/10. All the sides were just delish & perfect. The greens, the Mac & Cheese, the Sweet potatoes, just amazing. Owner was very kind.

I was excited to support a local black business. I became very disappointed. The Yams taste like they came out of a can. Macaroni was mushy and very peppery, didn't match the picture on DoorDash. Brisket was delicious and tender, but very fatty, needs better trimming of fat. Tri tip was very dry. Overall the quality didn't match the price.
