Amazing food and staff are super friendly. Tried their lamb it was really tasty .. there portions are big so you leave with a full stomach!

Was looking for a halal restaurant in the area and I stumbled upon this hidden gem.As soon as I walked in I saw the owner praying in the back and I felt at ease :) I ordered the gyro plate and it took a while to be ready because it's made fresh , so it was worth it! The food was delicious. It's a cozy place with a halal market next door .

We get dinner to go here at least twice a week! Food is fresh and at a great price. Our go to items are the Gyro platter, zinger burger and beef burger. I have to say, the zinger burger (crispy chicken sandwich) is the best around and fresh! Staff is super friendly and respectful.

Yum. I was going to another place nearby but looked at this place's reviews. There were a lot a great reviews so changed my mind and went here. I went with the skewered chicken with naan. You can choose rice as well. It comes with lettuce, tomatoes, and onions. The chicken was really tasty. What was good was the put the chicken on the naan so it soaked up the chicken juices.

Chicken Dinner for Party of 5A small group of us have been trying to have dinner here for sometime now... well, we finally made it tonight... third time's a charm. We were the only dine-in guests at the time so it was pleasant and we could be as loud as we want as we sometimes tend to get when we haven't seen each other in a while. It's always fun catching up with friends. I originally ordered the Chicken Platter... it was pretty good until the spice started to kick in. I don't do too well with spicy foods no matter how mild it is. On the other hand my hubby ordered the Chicken Popcorn with Fries... non-spicy at all. I can handle that so we switched and we both had a good dinner. The popcorn chicken are boneless, skinless chicken breasts and was a little larger than bite-size and they were crispy, crunchy and flavorful. Served with dipping sauce and fries. I would order this next time!Lots of seating inside. This is a counter-service establishment. Looks like the restaurant is going through some renovations and/or upgrades but it didn't bother our gathering one bit. This place is truly a hidden gem! The sandwhich I got was a huge chicken breast with a crispy breading and delicious dipping sauce, definitely worth a try. Probably the best chicken sandwich you will find in north Sacramento, my fiancé came here 3x in one week so that tells you how good it is! If you're not interested in chicken then give the beef burger a try it's amazing.

Believe the hype. The zinger burger was outstanding. Really wasn't expecting something special about of something simple. Chicken was perfectly prepared and cooked. Thick. Crispy. Salt. Fries were good too.Cuckoos is attached to a market with many fun Middle Eastern items and ingredients. Tea, lebni, spices, desserts, fresh baked bread, and more. Even some Cadbury chocolates from Australia. Prices were reasonable. I was traveling through the area, now I know this is a must stop!

The food is amazing, and delicious! The owner makes the sauces from scratch. They have a good variety of food options and canned drinks. You are always greeted when you come in, they remember your orders, and treat you very nice. Restaurant is a good size with a lot of tables and seats.

The best food I've eaten from a small family run business. The kindness The owner showed us beyond. While my husband had a delishous cheeseburger, I enjoyed chIcken chari karayi. It was finger licking great. I put the chicken mixture in the fresh made nan. Yum messy good. The owner gave us tea. The fries for hubby were seasoned. No ketchup needed. Restroom clean. Sink in front is you need to wash your hands. The dish i had came with the choice of chicken or lamb dish. Chicken was cheaper. Next time lamb. Go just go.
