Still received phone call, VM, and text on 10/9 even after opting out.

Although I am no longer a member of crunch fitness, I did come here before I canceled my membership. It was pretty nice inside. It has more space which is nice. The only downside is that it seems to have more weights than cardio machines. The classes are pretty nice. Would recommend trying the Zumba classes that they. Zumba is pretty fun once you get the hang of it.

I love Crunch Fitness since joining in October! I was assigned Susy as my trainer and she's Fabulous ! I'm so glad she's my trainer as I wouldn't want anyone else! She listens to me as I'm a Senior Citizen and have chronic pain and unable to do some exercises. I haven't seen any other female trainers when I come in the mornings. When I joined I told them I wanted only a female. I was introduced to a trainer named Katie but she said she only worked in the afternoons.Thank you Susy for being so supportive and positive! On to our 3 day workout journey!I can't say enough about Jackie! She always greets us when we arrive and leave. Makes us sad on Thursdays because that's her day off.Thank you Susy and Jackie for making my workout routine enjoyable!

We were members for about 5 months when our gym was closed down. The next closest Crunch was a 30 min drive from us. I requested a cancellation, and received confirmation of the cancellation. My husband just received a call from them stating we owed them money. After a draining conversation with the rep, my husband drove the 30 minutes to the "next closest location" paid what they claimed we owe them. The staff offered management to speak with my husband, but because he was in a meeting, my husband would of had to wait to speak with him. Not worth his time. So disappointed about this as we were happy with our gym and staff. Accounting department is a nightmare.

This is a very clean gym that has great amenities from sauna to group workout classes. They have a spin cycle room and plenty of boxing bags for mma training. Free weights as well with Olympic style barbell and area for squats, cleans and deadlifts. A+ all together with lockers and showers.

I've always liked crunch. Consisntely clean locations and outstanding value for what the memberships are priced at. My only grip is they aren't scattered all over sacramento. I'm about to say "eff it" and eat the 20 minute drive for the gym as opposed to the 30 second walk I have to Rio Linda fitness. Open a location in Natomas, please!!! Shout out to Tony for his assistance for me and my friend earlier this week. I'll be back to sign up!

If you wish to be contacted constantly with upselling marketing, pay undisclosed fees, and be dismissed by staff, consider this new Crunch fitness place. Otherwise, there's plenty of other places to work out in Sacramento. Issue 1: the founder rate was heavily marketed at ~$10/month. The subsequent paperwork included an undisclosed annual fee plus an ongoing fee of ~$15/month. Had to go in person to the gym and have it lowered to ~$10/month but apparently nothing can be done about this mysterious annual fee that raises the overall fees I pay. No, it was not disclosed when I signed up and the paperwork sent to me electronically mysteriously changed the material terms. I still have not received an updated contract. Issue 2: after 10 text messages and 15+ email messages, I tried to opt out of the constant upselling and aggressive marketing for personal training and other services. Despite that, I received another phone call, voice message, and text after my Sept. 20 notification to STOP. I was placed on indefinite hold when I tried to phone the number on the contract to speak to someone about this issue. Instead, I ended up speaking to the manager (name withheld) at Crunch Fitness Market Square. This was a less-than-ideal exchange. He repeated three times that I type in STOP to opt out of the aggressive marketing. Even though there was another desk clerk standing next to him, he went to help other gym members who wanted to check in because he was trying to dismiss my concerns. When he declared himself as the manager of the place, I asked to speak to his manager or his boss' boss because I was not being heard or understood. I also repeated that I had already opted out of the marketing with STOP on September 20. His questionable behavior did not change but he did something to the computer. He finally stated that the emails, phone calls, and voicemails would cease. No apology beyond a fake smile. No proof or evidence that something was actually done to cease these marketing calls. Consider other places to work out. The silent switch in contract terms and the need to constantly advocate for yourself over minutiae is less than ideal. The gym's violation of their own privacy policy is also concerning and deserves attention: https://www.crunch.com/privacy-policy

The Gym sold its soul to Amazon, and what started as a great new gym turned into a sellout, the funny thing is they did it after collecting the annual membership fee of $80, on top of the monthly fee. They have implemented Amazon One Biometrics, and of course, they claim your data is secure - where have we heard the song and dance before? What is Amazon One - a palm-scanning identity service that can authenticate people when entering physical premises? What are some of the impractical uses of Amazon One, how about within proximity to your Bluetooth (gadget) it captures your data from a smartwatch and phone. Can you imagine the treasure trove it obtains from your name, address, phone, associates, search history, AP-connected access points MAC address, password, Bluetooth Mac addresses, location history, pictures, etcWhat's next Bluetooth sensors in the toilets to read your sodium levels to warn you against eating to much bacon.

They have not cleaned their showers at Crunch fitness Arden in well over a week. It's disgusting, like health code violation worthy. How much does it take to get a bottle of spray bleach at least and mist them down???
