Crumbl - Citrus Heights

This location sucks. This is now the second time that a tres leches cake did not have any milk soak. The cookie butter one had no milk soak and now the regular version didn't have a milk soak either. If I ever come back here, I will be ordering in person (rather than doing curbside pick up) and demanding that each cookie/cake is made properly.

Not sure what happened here! My daughter showed me that there was something in the cookie, butter cake. Very hesitant I noticed it looked sharp. As I pulled it out it was a plastic piping tip bag end piece with pink icing inside. When we didn't order a cookie with pink icing. Luckily we didn't warm up the cookie. This frightens me not only for my daughter almost eating plastic but for the quality control in the store. Maybe in a rush..?

Clean, friendly, quality choices. Cookies were delicious. Been on a chocolate chip craze. These always hit the spot. Got a biscoff, chocolate chip, banana filling and strawberry cookie. I got it last week. Had to share but all were good choices.

I must admit that I don't eat as many cookies as I used to when I was younger. And in recent years, there has been more and more new cookie shops opening up. This takes me to "Crumbl Cookies" that has served the Citrus Heights area which opened up back in early 2022. In case you don't know, Crumbl Cookies made it big really quickly (due to its strong social media presence) since debuting back in 2017. As of early-2024, they have around 1,000 locations in North American (USA & Canada) and don't show any signs of slowing down.This location is directly on Auburn Blvd and shares the same parking lot as Walmart, Costco, and Applebee's. Their location is at the very front of the parking lot with other small businesses. Parking is surprisingly easy if you're only going here but Costco/Costco gas can be a whole different story. Truth be told, my home is within 2 miles to hear and some may think I've been here dozens of times. Surprisingly, my first time here was during the evening of Wednesday 5/1/2024 at around 7:30pm.Their hours are standard as this location is open Monday-Thursday from 9am-10pm and Friday-Saturday from 9am-11pm. And due to the owners religious beliefs, ALL Crumbl Cookies locations are closed on Sunday (just like Chick-Fil-A, Hobby Lobby, & RC Willey). Their business focuses heavily on online ordering as well as 6 different cookies every week. Usually the standards are chocolate chip or sugar but they have a ton of unique options to choose from. During my visit, I saw Dulce de Leche and Key Lime as optional choices.I will tell you that the cookies here are huge as one of them is big enough to feed two people. They do carry mini sizes available in 3-pack, 6-pack, and 12-pack. Standard sizes comes as a single cookie (priced at $4.99 as of 2024) as well as 4-pack, 6-pack, and 12-pack. I will say that these are quite pricey and I see how the novelty has caught on since these are shown quite a bit on TikTok. I will say that these cookies are loaded with sugar so be sure to eat these in moderation. And don't forget a cold glass of milk to wash it down.All in all, "Crumbl Cookies" in Citrus Heights is a decent above average place if you're looking for cookies that are a bit out of the ordinary. This particular store is small (no indoor seating) but it was very clean and sterile during my visit. The customer service was also above average as the young lady was friendly, attentive, and accommodating. With that said and done, I am going to give this location four stars.

The customer service was good. I placed my pick-up order in the morning through the app, and my cookies were readily available when I arrived. This was our first time trying Crumbl, and we were excited to see what the hype was about. Unfortunately, the cookies didn't quite meet our expectations. We ordered three cookies and one Funfetti cake, totaling $18 and some change. An extra 99 cents was added to the cake's price ($4.99 + .99), which seemed a bit much. While the Funfetti cake was delicious, the Oreo, chocolate chip, and peanut butter ft. Snickers cookies were very doughy and tasted undercooked. It seems that's the signature style, but it wasn't for us. Although the price is a bit high for a small cake, I'll return for just the cakes in the future.

Crumbl is really creative with their cookie flavors. I love trying their flavors. Huge cookies. I can never eat a whole one.

Made an online order, store closes at 11:00pm, pull up at 10:53pm, open light iis off, and three workers leaving the store paying no mind to the car that pulled up. I guess closes at 11:00pm is a suggestion? And another person pulled up and was waiting for his order to be brought out. We had to tell him they apparently closed early. So makes me wonder what time they started their closing process in order for them to get out before the noted closing time? Or maybe the app reflects the incorrect closing time? If so, it should be fixed. This was such a waste of my time!

The product is great. I always look forward to trying their new recipes. However at this location I do have concerns with some people that work there. A guy that was working on another batch was visibly irritated and was slamming ingredients on the table in plain view up front near the register. His facial expression clearly indicated that he was unhappy and just not something that made the experience any good.

I just went in a little but ago to get cookies because mine were wrong. Not only did the assistant manager give me the correct ones, she also upgraded and gave me 2 extra cookies. So instead of a 4-pack, I got a 6-pack. Thank you!

It was great when they first opened but have been having issues lately. Last order had two cookies that were severely under baked- totally raw in the middle. I just got an order with the strawberry cake and it is not double layered like described and shown on the app but one layer of cake and therefore much smaller than what it should've been.
