Crack'd Toffee Company

I have a love hate relationship with Toffee. I love it. I hate that I am powerless against it and No 12 step program nor ECT will cure me of my addiction to it. In the case of Crack'd its much much worse. The toffee is otherworldly and its impossible to put down. I only have experience with the Original Toffee. Its buttery crunchy taste with a slight smokiness and vanilla undertones is among the best I have tasted. The almonds help cut the sweetness and add a needed savor componenet to the whole affair. Its coupled with the semi sweet chocolate which for my palate is perfect. Full on milk chocolate would be too overwhelming IMHO. Its a small family run local business and has excellent customer service. They can be found locally at several grocery stores or at fairs and the like. Better yet they have a website that allows for super easy ordering. I'm not in the habit of making requests in reviews but I for one would love to see: Toffee with just the almonds Toffee with pistachiosand lastly I throw down the gauntlet with some Honeycomb toffee!

Crunchy, sweet, salty, delicious toffee! My personal favorites are the dark chocolate and espresso flavors, but all of them are delicious. Stop messing around with chewy toffee and get you some Crack'd.

I've been searching for a dairy-free toffee since I was diagnosed lactose intolerant 18 years ago, and while it took longer than I wanted, I have now found the most delicious, mouth-watering vegan toffee available through Crack'd Toffee!! They seriously have made me one happy lady and have found a customer for life. Don't hesitate, just buy a box for yourself and you'll see why people rave about their toffee. I've heard amazing things about their regular toffee, too.

Seriously, since this company has opened I've been a fan. With every bite, you get the crunchiness of caramel and almonds and, then, the sweetness of the chocolate. My favorite is the dark chocolate. It's not that sweet, so it really adds another dimension of flavor to the toffee.I enjoy the milk chocolate because it was the original. It has a really good flavor and bite that doesn't leave a yucky taste in your mouth. The white chocolate is sweeter than the others. It's good with coffee or strong tea...as is all the toffee!!The company of husband and wife are very professional and honest. I know once your order is placed, they are cooking, crackin' and packing' it!

Crack'd Toffee can not be beat! It is absolutely addictive. My favorite is Premium Dark Roast but each flavor reflects love from the creative team. I gave a variety of Crack'd Toffee to friends/neighbors as holiday gifts and am still getting rave reviews from the lucky recipients.Especially pleased was our Vegan friend = Vegan Dark Toffee = WOW.

I was disappointed in the price of the toffee and the quality that was given for this price. They want $33.00 per pound for this toffee, which might be reasonable if this were spectacular toffee, but it was not. I see this as a "personality" "boutique" type of confection. Perhaps if it was sold at some expensive place like Disneyland, you would expect to pay this price, but not for a "mailorder" company. The original toffee was unremarkable (not bad though if it had been less expensive). The dark chocolate was little better (maybe the chocolate was a higher quality. The white chocolate (surprisingly because I don't like white chocolate) was the best, maybe because it was super sweet (this is precisely why I don't like white chocolate). I suspect the lack of taste is the quality of the butter. I have made candies before and the quality of the butter is of utmost importance, especially with expensive toffee. Perhaps making the toffee with a higher quality of butter would make this toffee worth $33.00 per pound. Not bad, but not worth the price charged. I was quite disappointed with the quality. I have tasted much better in commercial toffee. Hope they improve the quality of the ingredients because I think they might have a good business here if they don't cut corners with cheap ingredients. I'm also suspicious of a company that has few reviews and all of them are raving (5 star) because it makes me think maybe it's family and friends making those reviews to promote the company instead of satisfied customers.

I've reviewed Crack'd Toffee before but with their addition of new flavors since my last time I want to report that they continue to impress. I buy directly from my local market and have now tried everything except for the vegan toffee. The taste and texture are outstanding. My new favorite is absolutely the Distill'd Bourbon toffee. Do yourself a favor and buy/order some soon.
