Crab n Spice - Sacramento

Absolutely amazing experience. We usually go to boiling crab but they were completely booked out for Valentine's Day. We decided to give this place a try on door dash. We called and asked basic questions about the menu and they kindly answered our questions. The food was delicious, even better and bigger shrimp than boiling crab. We were craving for seafood boil one day, and found this place through yelp.We didn't have too high of an expectation coming in, but we were both left feeling satisfied with our meal and it's actually become a favourite of ours.So what did we order?Captain's Choice with shrimp, lobster tail, snow crab, corn, and sausage. We also ordered a pound of green mussels.We got it with the Crab N Spice sauce and it was so good! Very flavourful but not too salty. For spice level, we chose medium, but we could have went for spicy as the medium wasn't that spicy for us.You'll have plenty of sauce leftover, so if you order some rice, definitely add some of that sauce to it.We also ordered the sweet potato fries which arrived to our table piping hot, crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. I would give this place 4.5 stars!

Clam chowder was watery as hell with hardly any clams in it. Broth and seasoning for mussels and shrimp were too thick. First and last for me.

I don't think this place gets the credit it deserves! The blending of the spices on my seafood boil were tasteful and just the right spice. The prices are reasonable and the service has always been great every time my family and I come here to eat. I prefer this place than the other over price seafood places.

Flavors are good, I normally just get the shrimp head on with the flavor All-In. The garlic noodles were good, I like that they give a lot of garlic mixed into the noodles. Service is okay, slow at times. I heard they're doing AYCE seafood boil now at all locations so I would be back to try that out as well.

The 1 pound shrimp is delicious! The price is reasonable for peeled or unpeeled. Had a fine in and a pick up order and it was great. The serves Syrris was kind and knowledgeable of the menu for some of the first time people that were there.

My family and I decided to have a birthday dinner here after learning that Boiling Crab would have been a 2 hour wait. Tucked away in a little shopping center, we were able to walk in and get seated right away. It was a Saturday night and not super busy but there were a few tables. Very clean inside and bright.We got the menus and started looking at all the options and the market prices for all the seafood was on the chalkboard. Our server was extremely patient with us as we were ordering. We ordered a bunch of seafood, shrimp, clams, mussels, king crab, crawfish and sides.Our server recommended one of their combos that lets you choose 3 pounds of seafood and then comes with sausage, corn and potatoes which gave us a better deal.The food came out pretty timely and very very hot. We went with the All In mild and then a side of All In hot. It's similar to other cajun seafood places but the exception being the Hawaiian sauce that is mixed into the All In that has pineapple that I've never seen before. It added a hint of sweetness but not overwhelming. I would say that the sauce itself, is not super salty, which is a plus. I've had other places where it is just too salty and then you have to drink a gallon of water after. The hot wasn't super hot but did have more seasoning overall which was nice. They have a happy hour here too which is nice. I would come back here, especially when you consider that there was no wait

We (a party of 2) came here on a Sunday afternoon, we were greeted and immediately seated. The aesthetic is creative and the environment is clean, also they played good music! Staff were nice and very attentive. We were excited about this place because they have the peeled and headless shrimp option, which is what we got with corn and potatoes which was delicious I think we had also got spicy and we definitely felt there was a kick that we enjoyed with a side of white rice. We also tried the Cajun fries, which came out super fresh and had a good flavor. I also liked how many options they had for drinks, I had the mangoneada with alcohol and it was super tasty! There's so many fun drink options. We enjoyed the food and our overall experience here.

Came here on the way home with my family, service was great very nice waitress. We got the snow crab combo which was good, seasoning could be better but still not bad. Seafood tasted fresh not frozen which we very much enjoyed. Would come again.

First time here and I'd have to say that I left quite disappointed with the food and service. We came in a group of 4.I ordered one appetizer (fried calamari), 4 pounds of crawfish, 1 pound of mussels, 2 pounds of shrimps, and one whole Dungeness crab with the Crabs N Spice flavor. (2 out of the 4 pound crawfish has the coconut flavor). The fried calamari was a little salty to my liking but good thing they provided a slice of lemon on the side. We finished it.The frozen crawfish has a weird taste and I'm such a big seafood lover and it's hard for me NOT to like seafood. The coconut flavor was pretty terrible and I love coconut but for some reason, it didn't go well with crawfish. The Crabs N spice flavor was pretty good; however, it was inconsistent. The flavor on the crab was stronger than the shrimp and mussels. Service was okay. Below standard. No check ups at all to see how we're doing and I had to get up and request for water/soda refills. We waited quite a long time just for the mediocre food and poor service. Unfortunately, we won't be returning.
