I have been dealing with this jurisdiction for many years now. Them like all of the other counties are encouraged by the state to aggressively collect a guideline amount of child support in effort to get dollars matched from the federal gov't. Sadly, the guideline calculator DOES NOT accurately reflect the true financial standing of all parties involved, moreover, the difficulty of supporting multiple households financially as ONE PERSON. Nonetheless, I have been very unfortunate to have fornicated with two unpleasant, controlling, and greedy women who combined are having $1860 garnished every month from my 70k/year income. But wait! That's not enough! This agency wants another $750/month on top of the $1860. Making my total monthly payment $2610! Did the mother file? No! This is all them THEY AND THEIR DESIRE FOR TITLE IV-D funding is why this was filed.Visitation? Co-parenting? No, the mother lied to police in 2011 to have me put in jail before the child was born (3 week dating stint. Was lonely and desperate. I'll admit that) So that's that, I never want anything to do with that person ever again. So no time share to drive support down. And the other mother moved 500 miles away so I could not get visitation.THIS ORGANIZATION ENCOURAGES AND PROVIDES FINANCIAL INCENTIVE TO CUSTODIAL PARENTS TO KEEP CHILDREN AWAY FROM NON-CUSTODIAL PARENTS IN THE INTEREST OF MONEY.You are unconstitutional, unethical and just plain bad for America.I hope I live to see the day your organization is ordered to cease and desist.

The building it self is beautiful. Well kept, clean, great play room for kids. Almost everyone within this department has been friendly and shown great customer service whether it's been over the phone or in the office. The only down side I see is how very often they change your case manager. Mine has changed countless times. I've had great case managers. Jessica Miranda was wonderful and stands out in my mind. Very friendly. I felt like she would go above and beyond to stay in touch with me about my case. Inform me on any new information. The fastest ways to contact her, etc. Prior to her. I've felt others have been similar. Personable. Get to know you, your case, your situation, what's going on and knows the other party. Then after talking with these workers for so long.. you finally start feeling comfortable with these people. Then out of nowhere it switched again. This time I was left feeling like I started all over with someone new who knows nothing about me, the situation, my case or even cares. Mine recently switched to Rochelle Miller. I'm sure she has great qualities but she just wasn't keeping me informed throughout situations going on like I felt case managers have done prior. I have never spoken to her on the phone, received a call or updates with my case once she was put in charge of it. Up until I recently reached out to her. And even then it just wasn't the same customer service as usual from this department that I've been used to. I've never even met her. It felt like she had just gotten to my file in her stack and wanted to move on to the next. The customer service that had always been outstanding wasn't there this time. So my one suggestion if my suggestion were to be considered. Please stop switching our case managers so carelessly and frequently if possible. (Except one more time maybe.. Jessica Miranda would be great to have back)

The people who work here are kind, they have a difficult job. Many parents do not treat them well and take our their issues on the good people who work here. Having said that, this place is bad. They constantly change who your support contact is with no communication to you. They never answer their phones. Email and voicemail often does not get responded to. You are now forced to call an 800 number that wastes time, then when they finally direct you to the office for your county, it goes into the voicemail of an employee, not a general number where you can speak to a human. They, or their computers, seem to be horrible at math. They can never deduct the correct amount, and when they take too much, they cannot correct THEIR error, they leave it to you and your attorney, which you have to pay, to correct their errors. At other times, you randomly get checks for incorrect payment. They did not communicate to my employer that my case was closed, so my employer continued to deduct from my pay. After contacting someone very helpful, I still have to wait for a mandatory refund review period before they will pay. WHAT THE HECK? You can see the case is closed, clearly you owe the refund. Pay it.For those on the receiving end, there are delays in getting your money, you aren't sure you are going to get the correct amount owed, and it is also a nightmare.Unless you have NO OTHER WAY, DO NOT USE PCCSS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! It is miserable for everyone!!!

Would like to know who I ask for to speak with about rose? Sadly I think she needs to be taught boundries and how to be appropriate. Definitely shouldn't advocate for either person on the case. Especially not knowing the situation because it's not her business. Please let me know who to contact thanks.

I have filed lawsuit agaist Placer County Dcss. Case # S-CV- 0042934. Multiple counts and violations. Failure to follow the Code of Civil Procedure. Discrimination ( giving one party over the other), How they place the duties of notifying the non custodial parent changes or modifications on Income with Holding Order on their employer. Thus giving Dcss and the custodial parent a decisive advantage. How and when intrest is pay on the account. Interest accrues until funds are deposited into the custodial parent account. Intrest should stop acuring when the funds are available. Employer's are given 7 days to pay this by mail or electronic fund transfers (ETF) . The State then process the funds allowing 3-4 day to process. We are paying for this. Failing to send The National Heath Care Order to my employer. This allowed Dcss to garnish my income well over the legal limits. Child Support Services does provide a valuable services to the Community .I'm going to say it To the DEAD BEET PARENT (THANKS) THIS SYSTEM IS BASE ON YOUR NON-PARTICIPATON IN YOUR CHILDRENS LIFE. For the parent, man or woman that wants and needs to be involved in their children's life,We need this service to be fair to each parent. Please reach out to me. A class action lawsuit has more ability to make changes. ThanksJerry

My ex receives SSDI which is considered income for child support calculations. For some reason, Placer Country is refusing to do this. Now I have to spend thousands for an attorney to do what this agency is paid to do. Anyone else have this problem? My kids are being cheated by the agency ( my tax dollars support) that is there to watch out for their interest. Where is Norma Rae? ????
