Country Club Cinema

We were around Sacramento and wanted to see a movie, so I checked Yelp to find a good theater. Country Club Cinema had the best reviews, so that's where we went. When we arrived, we were unsure of the entrance's location and decided to get out and look. We went through the only visible entrance, which happened to be the mall entrance.The shopping mall was quite deserted, with only a handful of stores open and a few people waiting around. Fortunately, we located the movie theater and were pleased to find it clean and well-maintained. The theater was a stark contrast to the area surrounding its entrance.We were greeted by a very helpful employee who offered a wide selection of food, desserts, and beverages, including alcoholic options. We opted for popcorn, as we planned to have dinner afterward. Arriving early, we briefly explored the theater. While smaller than some others, it was very clean.After exploring we finally went to our theater and we discovered we were the sole patrons. The seats were clean and offered reclining options, making for a very pleasant experience. The popcorn was as expected.We would certainly return to this theater if we are in the area, but we would be hesitant to attend a late showing. The area and mall seemed rather unsafe. Even leaving the theater before it was late, it was dark and I felt uneasy.

I prefer this cinema to the Arden fair theaters and here's why:The tickets are cheaper, the movie theaters are usually less full (more seats available), the chairs are bigger and recline more, they have trays in front of the chairs for food eating, they don't care if you bring your own food (I've brought chipotle before) and if you're 21+ you can buy alcohol at the full bar. The ONLY downside is that you can sometimes hear the other movies through the theater walls. But you can't really tell once your movie is going loudly.

Saw a movie at 3:45PM on a Sunday. Had a wonderful experience from the parking lot to the seat!I love picking my seat when buying a ticket. I'm a live theater lover and was honestly baffled about why movie theaters took so long to get on the "select your seat at purchasing" bandwagon. Seats are amazingly comfortable and wide. The trays are perfectly sized and LOVE the cup holders. I'm a klutz and couldn't guarantee an upright soda without them. The popcorn is delicious! I love the pump of butter in the middle AND the top! It's perfectly salted too. Just delicious.Can't wait to come back for my next movie!

We loved the seats, nice and comfort with retractable food trays and reclining seats. All if not most of the mobile kiosks were out of order. The movie we wanted to see (we pre-purchased tickets) we were told it wasn't playing and the theater was broken. Once the cashier checked with management we were advised the movie was playing. Some of the posters adorning the walkway were of old movies (September 2024); current visual advertisements would be helpful in future.

Love this theatre. Screw my local Regal Natomas. This is priced right and better chairs and comfort. We came last time as a fam to see Indy Jones. We got popcorn, nachos, sodas for a fair price. Man, I like the nachos. Packed with goodies you actually run out of chips (PRO TIP- bring own chips next time like I plan to do). Truly, I like patronizing and seeing the success of places/eateries that don't gouge and give you good value/portions for a reasonable/good price. It's not like they can't make profit. They just need more numbers. This is one of those spots. On Tuesdays all movies are $5 as of 2023! Seats are recliner and can roll out the leg extender. Drink holders and it feels like your living room in regards to comfort. Each theatre is not huge so you don't get the common Regal, Ethan ghetto youngstas showing the lack of manners they were never taught in talking the whole movie. This place has a much better family dynamic. Keep that Gen Z trash behavior out. Keep that enjoyable movie experience in.

Comfy seats. Quiet atmosphere. Decent selection of food at the concession. Really good pricing. We come here a lot bc it's cheaper and less crowded than other theaters like DOCO and Century. Also there is a good boba place and burger place (Flaming Grille) at this mall so after we go to a movie we grab a bite.

Retired & love matinee weekday showings with mainly empty theater!We like the ability to see how many people booked online tickets - if very few, we show up at the theater to buy tickets & save the internet transaction fee. Seats are comfortable & recline. Swing table can move in front of you & drink holder is big enough to fit & hold the extra large bottled water. I prefer these to the fixed tables at other theaters that can't accommodate a large drink so you take up table space and can accidentally knock it off.Clean theater & restrooms, attentive employees.Don't forget to sign up for your rewards card to get point for youth ticket & snack purchases!

Avoid the crowds and relax here. Good food options and staff friendly. Drink options for both adults and children. I accidentally dropped our popcorn, staff noticed and replaced no problem.

As much as I'd love to gatekeep this movie theater, I think Sacramento should know how great of a theater it is!! I've never had an issue with parking here. It is a smaller cinema relatively speaking but it's perfect! Unless there's a blockbuster movie out, it's not crazy busy. Often times I'm able to purchase tickets inside as opposed to online. Thankfully trailers never last more than 10-15 minutes! I've experienced trailers going for 20-30 minutes in other theaters nearby. They do discounted ticket prices on Tuesday. Usually weekly there will be an older movie playing alongside new releases. I highly recommend trying the Dole whip from here! It takes exactly like the ones at Disneyland.

Not busy at all which was nice! Great comfortable lounging chairs. Popcorn and icee were good. They also have some alcoholic beverages as well - I enjoyed a glass of Pino Noir. Clean bathrooms and clean theater. Great place to go to the movies.
