Cornerstone Cafe

Brought my 78 year old mom here for lunch yesterday. The new owners have managed to both keep the atmosphere the same while also perking it up. The festive autumn decor is a nice touch.Mom had a hamburger and I had a party melt. Both were the perfect old-school diner taste and hit the spot.Servers and owners are so friendly. Clientele is local and the cozy restaurant is always filled. I just love this local, old school diner!

I'm a little disappointed. Last time we were here , it was fast, efficient and friendly . Today was a different story . We sat ourselves and waited to have our order taken . We watched 5 other tables seat themselves and how quickly their orders were taken as we were overlooked . A man served us water swiftly . But It had been over 10 minutes and still no one came even though one of the waitresses said she would come take our order so we left and went elsewhere.

Placed an order for pick up and the customer service wasn't warm on the phone. And when picking up the food it was busy but again customer service didn't feel very warm or welcoming. The food was ok for its price. I would go again just because it was so cheap.

So we have been coming here for many years the food is amazing and I love that they ground the coffee beans on site for fresh coffee when there open an the staff is always so amazing and so happy and nice and helpful and friendly the service is always amazing and the food is always super fresh and the restaurant just got freshly painted inside and on the outside it is still so amazing just like before, I would highly recommend this place for breakfast or brunch or lunch an the ambience is great the restaurant is always clean and same with the bathrooms. We love this place and will continue to come here and recommend it to everyone we know and everything

Horrible experience, had my food ordered through Door Dash, I specifically asked for no bell peppers and the bell peppers and onions on there were raw, not even cooked. I also ordered a site order of gravy that never came with it. I asked for cheddar cheese and instead they put American sliced cheese over the potatoes instead. The food was gross, not good. I also ordered a waffle for my girlfriend that was cold, burnt that came with no butter or syrup. I get it mistakes are going to be made, but sending the food out to your customers like this is not right.

My cousin visits this restaurant at least three times a month. The staff and owner know him very well. He treated me to breakfast and I ordered the posole. It was delicious. The owner came out and introduced himself and asked how was our food. The staff is so friendly, and you could tell they have regulars. I highly recommend coming here. The food is delicious and the prices right

Never disappoints! Your go to neighborhood cafe. The homestyle hash browns are the best! And the staff is so welcoming and spunky.

Every time I visit my parents, a trip to cornerstone is a must for breakfast. The chicken fried steak is always my go to. It is delicious. The staff is always friendly, I have never once had a bad visit at Cornerstone and look forward to my next visit

Update: they keep getting better and better. Fan-freaking-tastic!!! Best early bird breakfast there is. Extremely friendly staff, and my order is always correct! Really love this place, it's like a family.

Great prices and amazing food! I used to live nearby and now I happily make the trek across town when I'm in the mood for some good breakfast!
