Corner Tavern & Grill

First things first. Let's start with dessert! You may have skipped dessert after filling up on beer & pizza at Corner Tavern. Don't. They bring out a dessert tray. They offer a dense slab of chocolate cake (Bombay? Can't recall name), New York Cheesecake (with your choice of berry topping), Tiramisu, chocolate mousse & some other dessert served in a small cup, believe it's chocolate mixed something. I settled on their "Crack" cake, since it's their signature dish & made in-house. It's more like a pie. It's has a caramel toffee type filling, with a hard, crunchy crust. It's served with gelato, usually vanilla, but I got bourbon pecan gelato. It was delicious! (Get a knife, it's tough to cut).Now on to the rest. I got the margarita pizza & I added mushrooms. I was bummed to see it doesn't come with tomato sauce (waiter was nice enough to give me some). Next time I'll order a pizza that has sauce. For the price point, it was pretty good pizza!I also got mini onion rings, happy hour price $5.75 and a side salad $6 with house made vinaigrette. The salad was small but had tomatoes, onions, cucumbers & mixed lettuce. It was very good!The server was awesome too. Very nice and excellent customer service.

Great vibe. Music not too loud (I'm only 41) and had a good soundtrack going. Your normal beer/cider/cocktail menu, but what I'm writing about is the food. We had a roasted beet salad with chicken and a lemon arugula pizza. The bar pie is great. I was gonna ask them to cook it well because I like a crispy bottom, but it came very well cooked. No lie, that pizza with some Parmesan and red pepper may have been one of the best bites I've had in a really long time. Good service.Great overall experience. Will be coming back.

I have driven past many times and when we were looking for a place to meet for a birthday get together Corner Tavern & Grill was the perfect spot to meet. Pretty good parking, there was outside seating as well as plenty of inside seating. We were quickly greeted and seated immediately, we were there for lunch so might not have been as busy as dinner hours We order the fish and tots and the Tavern burger. Both were delicious, I noticed most people were ordering the pizzas, they looked fantastic. Definitely will be back to give them a try.

We visited for lunch on Friday and were seated immediately. The food came pretty quick after we ordered.- Old fashioned burger with fries: the portion was big. The patty was well cooked and the buns were soft and fluffy. The burger tasted good. The fries were ok: hot and crispy but tasted like store bought.- Lobster roll with chips: they gave generous portion of lobster meat. The lobster was perfectly cooked (not chewy) but it was lack of flavor. The bread part was good and soft but it was only one slice of bread. I wish that they gave bigger so I could enjoy it with the lobster meat. The chips are my favorite! They are crispy & thin and perfectly seasoned.

Lovely neighborhood bar and restaurant.We always sit outside since we have the doggie but have always received excellent service. The food has been consistent great and you can tell the chef really puts effort into the food. We once got a steak here that I still think about to this day- perfectly cooked and seasoned plus a big portion! They have weekly specials they post of Facebook and they have pictures. I love that. Will be back soon!

I asked FB Folsom Chat for a place that serves legit NY Pizza where the cheese and tomato sauce drip off the slice. Well this is the place! Conveniently located in the heart of Folsom the place has a great Cheers kinda charm with 80's music, casual modern decor, and excellent service. The small house salad was fresh and tasty. The recommend red trolley amber beer off the tap went perfectly with my pizza. I ordered a simple large cheese and half mushroom pizza. After my first bite I was transported back to Brooklyn years ago where I had a great classic cheese and mushroom pizza. This place is awesome and I highly recommend!

Customer service is amazing. Called in an order for a group of people. And of course everyone had a modification, staff was friendly and accommodating. Onion rings are to die for. Burgers are amazing and the pizza is delicious! Definitely cannot wait to dine in! If take out tastes this good I can't imagine how it tastes table side.

We had a wonderful Christmas Eve Dinner with Family and Friends! Dana gave amazing service to our group. I was really impressed with how she and the staff took care of the restaurant with another parties kids running around creating chaos. Parents really need to control their children. Our Cioppino was the best we ever had and we are originally from the Bay Area. Owners are the nicest people! We will be back!! Would give ten stars if I could!

Owner is unprofessional & disrespectful & he's loud & proud about it. Several reviewers here have had the same negative experience. Bartender is burnt out & managed to be more rude than the owner. Miserable old attitude & acts like you're an inconvenience to her. They forgot my mom's meal entirely which ended up tasting worse than a frozen lasagna. I'd be embarrassed to serve that & I'm not even Italian. Costco does it 100 times better. Save your money! Go anywhere else!

Best fish and potatoes in the area . He calzone is out of this world . The bar tenders make great drinks here also
