Cookie's Drive In

I recently visited Cookies Drive In and did not have high expectations. To my surprise, I was pretty impressed. They offer several selections, ensuring there's something for everyone. I opted for a bonzana burger, which was incredibly juicy and flavorful--definitely a good burger.The ordering process is straightforward: you walk up and place your order. Despite the simplicity, the service was fantastic. The staff was friendly, efficient, and made sure I had everything I needed.The French fries were good, though a bit on the oily side. That being said, they were still enjoyable and complemented the burger well. I also tried their Oreo milkshake, which was absolutely on point--creamy, delicious, and a perfect treat after my meal.Although the inside seating is closed, the overall experience was still good. I'm looking forward to coming back and trying their other selections. Highly recommend this place if you're looking for a solid burger. Love the old fashion atmosphere but I do feel they can renovate a bit.

Always Delicious! This is our go-to spot for a great burger - delicious, affordable, and consistently excellent! We've tried just about everything on the menu, from corn dogs and chicken nuggets to fries, onion rings, chicken teriyaki bowl, burgers, and the chicken sandwich. And the cookies and cream milkshake is life! So grateful to have this local gem so close to home. Highly recommend!

Amazing bacon!! I get sandwiches with the bacon every time. The BBQ bacon burger is my favorite. My hubby loves the fish sandwich. My daughter loves the cheesesteak with the grilled onions. And I just tried the Chicken Bacon Ranch sandwich and it was awesome. It's family owned and opera so we love that!!!

It's very old school on the outside. Maybe even dumpy. Having no long term history in Sacramento and without yelp, you just drive on by. But because of yelp we stopped and had lunch. Had a fancy burger, I think it had blue cheese on it. Loved it and it had a great bun. Also ordered a coffee milk shake. This wasn't that great. I think it's just soft serve mixed with a syrup. It was nothing to write home about. Overall very please with the find. For a weekday afternoon there was a steady stream of customers. Some for lunch and some getting soft serve ice cream. I will be back, just not ordering a milkshake next time.

Cookies is an East Sac staple. Everything on the menu is really good. The diversity of the menu means there's something for everyone.

Love this place! It's a small mom and pop operation. Food is a standard drive in food with some special meats. I ordered the buffalo burger, and yes, it tastes like buffalo. My son had the elk burger, and he liked it. Yes, he has had elk before, and he said it tastes just like it.Seating is outside, or you can sit in your car.

Service was lousy. There is a sign that reads "order at window". My daughter and I stood there waiting for 10 minutes as two employees walked past several times not even acknowledging us. We left and went to Buckhorn instead, much better food I'm sure.

Small parking lot. Great staff. Great choices of food items. Quality is superb. Always yummy

Great burgers and great ice cream. Great prices compared to typical high prices in Sacramento. Worth the trip.
