You can always count on the out of the ways and unpopulated areas for amazing Asian food! I got their vermicelli with BBQ pork and egg rolls. They are super generous with the noodle amount and oh my, the meat is cooked to perfection! Seasoned, sauced, and cooked deliciously; this is some of the best pork I've had. And the vegetables were pickled well! Lately, I've been getting not enough pickled-ness when going to eat Viet food, but this place finally reminded me what good pickle-ness can taste like! The egg rolls are fried in rice paper (more traditional) so it is more on the oilier side, but the filling is incredible.I also nibbled off some shrimp cakes off my uncle's rice dish and they were amazing! Also I've never been to a place where they have a big bottle of fish sauce on the table! This was exciting because I am a fish sauce lover that douses it on everything! They also have a delicious soup to get you started if you ask for a small soup!

Food here is always 10/10. Whether it's the nem nuong cuon, pho, or broken rice place, it's all amazing!!! Even the chicken broth that's served with the rice plate is amazing! My go to order for my bf and I is nem nuong(just as god as quan nem in my opinion), a rice plate with a fried shrimp cake and bbq beef or bbq chicken, and a combination pho. The service is always quick and the food comes out generally quick too. We always go a lil bit after the lunch rush or an hour and a half before they close. Vibe is a regular Viet restaurant, with plants inside, and fish sauce and sriracha at all the tables with self serve utensils.

You can tell the majority of their customers are Vietnamese since I could tell they were a bit wary of us, the non-Vietnamese speaking people. After the initial shock on their end, they were very friendly and helpful. We shared an order of Egg Rolls with side of vermicelli and vegetables ("D" on the menu) and i ordered the Rice Vermicelli with BBQ Pork and BBQ Shrimp (#35).Food was great and the portions are large. I had leftovers. The amount of veggies served with the Egg Rolls was impressive and the appetizer could've easily been eaten as meal due to the amount of noodles and veggies served alongside it. I will be adding Com Tam Dat Thanh to my short list of restaurants that I'd visit on a regular basis!

This is possibly the best Com Tam / rice plate spot in town. They have a variety of vietnamese food that are all solid with big portions and all the sides you can think of. The main event here are the 7 special rice plates that are fully loaded. You can pick different proteins but my go to is anything bbq'd. They give you plenty of rice so you have some all the way to the last bite. Each of these plates comes with a side of veggies, fried shrimp cake, shredded pork skin, egg cake, bbq shrimp and grilled shrimp meat on a sugar cane. Each of these items is cooked well and flavorful and everything adds something different to the meal that ends up being a feast. Plates everywhere are getting smaller but this place has stayed the same for years and you will not be disappointed.

Huge portion sizes. The food is excellent, except I've had much better Pho elsewhere. They charge a 3% fee for credit cards, so use debit or cash. The things I don't quite like was the ambience, which is stale. There was one music track that was on a loop the entire time I was eating that was distracting. And the surrounding area is sketchy to me. A few homeless walking around the parking lot. The restaurant can't help that, so I don't blame them, I'm just trying to paint the whole experience here.

Tried a new place for lunch with colleagues. It was my first time, and I couldn't decide between the pho or a rice plate. Ended up ordering pho #58, and it did not disappoint! The broth was clear and packed with rich flavors, just what you'd want in a comforting authentic bowl of pho. The service was clean and quick, perfect for a lunch break. The rice plate looked fantastic too, so I'll definitely be back to try that next time!

I had high hopes upon coming here after reading the reviews on yelp as I was looking for a good place for com tam. We got 22A which comes with pork chop, egg cake, shredded pork skin, and a fried shrimp cake. I liked the taste of the pork chop, however I did not like the fried shrimp cake. The texture of it seemed off. The egg cake was ok, it seemed to have lots of mung bean noodles in it and was missing the woodear mushrooms. They also gave us a side of clear broth with cilantro in it. Service was fast, but when it comes to com tam, I probably wouldn't come back here again for it.There's also a 3% service fee if you pay with credit card.

We wanted to eat some Viet food when we heard Elk Grove had some. Then we researched yelp to find some decent eats and how was this spot? Let's talk about it.Negatives:-ambiance, it was very empty for lunch hour, but it was a Monday so I can't be too critical.Positives:-taste, the taste was great their fried shrimp tofu was very good. It reminded me of the first time I had it as a child. Extra crispy, shrimpy, and perfectly seasoned. Shrimp tofu is the only reason why I eat com tam. If you don't have it, then I'm not even gonna call you a com tam spot. The pork was decent and the grilled shrimp was very tasty.-portions, the portions to price ratio was excellent. Me and my wife shared a single plate and we barely finished it. 20 dollars for two people is excellent especially in this crazy economy.Overall 5/5

This place hit the SPOT for the fat hangover we had. Upon arrival, you can tell this is a mom-and-pop shop and I was aiming for that. In my opinion, mom-and-pop Pho establishments will always win my heart over modernized Pho restaurants. Our staycation in Sacramento also contained cold rainy weather, so the piping hot pho helped keep us warm. Summary: Food: 9/10Service: 10/10Ambiance: 8/10Parking: 10/10FOOD: 9/10I ordered the fatty brisket and rare steak pho. I appreciate how they do NOT skimp on the meat out here. I had a pile of fatty brisket and rare steak on top of my noodles. The broth was piping hot which was very much needed for my rare slices of steak. I have been traumatized from a previous pho spot not having piping hot broth for the rare steak. Com Tam Dat Thanh did not disappoint. The eggrolls were fried to perfection and they assortment of vegetables they provided for us to wrap the eggrolls were clean and so green. I also loved how there were SO many sauces provided on the table. SERVICE: 10/10The staff here are so kind and sweet. When we were served our food, I found it so adorable how the lady got us cultured by showing us what the different sauces were for and which sauces paired best with certain dishes. AMBIANCE: 8/10The restaurant was very spacious with a lot of seating. The restaurant was a bit dingy but there was something very homey about it which I loved. PARKING: 10/10 This restaurant is located inside a plaza so there is an ample amount of parking.
