Coloma Club

Went on the cafe side. Parking was full due to everyone on the bar side!!! It was a hot day! Only lunch menu was available during dinner due to the heat. Poor chef. I feel for u! I got a steak sandwich. The fries were delicious! I love how they put the mayo on the side! The rest of my party doesn't like mayo so I grabbed all theirs! Ketchup and mustard on the table. Nice place to hang out after river rafting! Didn't want to go all the way into the concrete jungle!

As a visitor, I felt very welcomed at both the diner AND the bar side.Diner- Sweet server that took our order and brought our dishes. I am a chili lover and they have a marvelous BEEF AND BEANS that is filling and happy making even though it's a warm 90 degrees outside!Bar- A real LOCAL bar! I think we were the odd one here but everyone knew everyone here and best of all, they bring their DOGS! Bartender super friendly and they have a full bar. 4 beers on tap. Pool tables. There is an outdoor bar and seating area. There are events on different nights.A real slice of the surrounding area. Love love love.

Nice hole in the wall dive bar! They had a pool table ($1 per game) and food and drinks. It's close to a few campgrounds in the area which is why we dropped in. Alot of locals hang out here and they allowed dogs inside. Food was good, drinks were good and service was good. We had a burger and fries (fries were yummy!) and our friend had the ribeye which he said was very good. The bartender didn't give me an itemized bill at the end, just gave me a total. We will be back.

Love this place! Greasy spoon kitchen a saloon. The breakfast is solid and I love the club sando!

Dropped in for Breakfast before rafting. Raining at camp so we came in to dry off and get some food.The Coloma Club is a diner with a ton of character in a remarkably rural spot between Auburn and Placerville in the foothills just outside of Sacramento. You'll sit between Coloma locals, motorcycle tourists, river guides and river runners in a building which has seen a lot over the years. (Just check the picture section). The food was diner food. Not pretentious or over-wrought, but capably prepared and it hit the spot on that cold Fall morning before we ran the American River. If you're looking for crepes, a fresh fruit and yoghurt bowl or gravy made from scratch this might not be your destination. But for a comfortable meal in a great setting surrounded by an eclectic mix of people you'll be stoked.

We stopped here for breakfast and were not disappointed. The waitress was very friendly and led us to the patio where we wanted to sit. Lovely environment with tons of plants. I ordered an omelette and my husband ordered eggs with corn beef hash. Both were huge and delicious. We would definitely stop here again if we're in the area.

We came in for dinner at 6:30 to discover they were out of nearly all the dinner items. No roast beef, no fried chicken, no liver, no pasta and so forth. The salad is lettuce, beat slices, cucumber and chopped tomato- costs extra to have instead of French fries if you're getting a burger or sandwich. I didn't like any of this so ended with plain chopped iceburg lettuce.I gave 3 stars hoping my grilled chicken with mushrooms dinner will make up for the other disappointment-- hold up as I'm typing ...they have no veggies to go with my dinner. So out of dinner options at 6:35 on a Sunday. We were told we will be the last 'dinner'. My husband's roast beef was reported out after we placed the order so he ended up with a burger.The chicken is dry with dry mushrooms- gross. I've had better food from a frozen dinner. Even my husband who will eat nearly anything would not eat it- spit out his bite. Don't come here if you're looking for dinner after 5 Or if you want more than bar food I guess.

Good Day everyone. Came by for a breakfast today. Place was busy but Christy handled everything w/charm & efficiency. Had steak MR, perfect) hashbrowns,2 eggs (perfectly over medium) woot! & sours dough toast finally great ice tea . I always feeel comfortable when here. Huge outdoor patio (covered) so all are welcome here***The rest rooms are all the way through the bar & to the right.

Stopped by after rafting for a nice big meal and it was a great decision. The waitress was quick and super friendly. Portion sizes were amazing for the price and everything was delicious. We got burgers and steak. The kitchen did mess up one of our orders but they got it fixed and the right food out so fast it wasn't an issue at all. And the waitress brought us some ice cream to apologize. Great little spot.

Ok the 1 star is for the bar. Seems to be a good lil bar. The breakfast was awful. The homemade country fried steak was anything but homemade. It was so over cooked it was damn near burned. The scrambled eggs were literally killed on the grill. Hash browns were fine. The bisquits are very good. But when I see someone else trying to cut the same steak I have and they need a chainsaw? I know its routine bad cooking. I did see some bloody marys come out of the bar, they looked pretty good.
