Our favorite go to restaurant is West Sacramento. As busy as they get you can always find parking. Either in there tiny lot or across the street, street parking.Last year during football season we were happily surprised that they had the Raiders Game playing. It was blacked out at our house and since we don't have the red ticket, we couldn't watch it. This is good to know that we can come here to watch all the Raiders games in the future. Good food and football all in one place. The last time we went there I got 3 street tacos with carnitas. They were delicious. They have a little salsa bar and my favorite is the sour cream salas, it's the white one. I love it and I add a little to my tacos and it's perfect. Each guest gets a small bowl of chips and then they can help themselves to the salsa bar. They have a wide selection of salsas. From extra spicy to mild. I usually go for the non spicy ones such as pico de gallo or the sour cream based salsa. The time before last I had a bean burrito, with cheese, no meat or rice or lettuce or tomato. They do a good job on their bean burritos. The tortilla is percent amount of softness, it folds just right so the beans don't leak out. They put the perfect amount of goody cheese in their burritos so it matches up with the beans.Seating is generous. Most tables are set up in sets of 4 or 6 quads. There is always plenty of seating. Even in there busiest times, Sunday Afternoons. You can also order to go by phone. We've seen many people pick up there orders while we have dined in. This is something you should consider doing for Cinco De Mayo. They are packed that day. We actually left due to the line was so long. That was the only time we experienced such a long line. Usually the line is a breeze and they make the food up quickly so there is never a long wait for you food. They have cameras in the parking lot and screens in the restaurant so you can watch your car as you eat. We've never had any issues with our car and we've never seen any sketchy people around the restaurant.

**To be completely transparent, one of these stars is because it is not too far from me and the salsa bar. Special shoutout to the 'hot' sauce and that Smokey red salsa - will update rating as I try more things**This was a Grubhub order that I went to pick up. Staff - Pretty dope. Was welcomed when entering. They were chill. Solid from what I could tell. Attentive. Prices: Not bad at all. Food: Chile Relleno burrito: 3/5Decent portion, not as thicc as I would have hoped. The star of the whole burrito, the chile relleno itself, felt down played a bit. I'm not disappointed per se, it is what it is. The place seems chill. Prices are cool. Go check em out and support.

If you've read my reviews you know I love me some Mexican food. When my SIL wanted to try out this spot I was game. I ordered two Carnitas Street Tacos, two Carnitas QuesaBirria, along with a side of beans and rice. Our order was to go so I know things can be a bit different than when plated in a restaurant. Unfortunately, the carnitas meat for the street tacos maybe was meant to be crispy but in reality it resembled like it was left in a heating pan and the top part was exposed to the air drying it out. Really bummed that I could barely finish my first cause I was so disappointed. QuesaBirria seemed like the item to get, per Yelp. This fell short for me too. I didn't taste anything magnificent where I couldn't get enough of it. The birria broth was provided and I dipped in there giving it a tad more flavor, slightly oily taste though. Rice & beans were decent, nothing to highlight there. We tried... however, don't think we'll be return customers.

My Sister just moved here and we have been working hard on getting her place all buttoned up. Renovations still happening. We are very excited. So, this past weekend we stopped by and decided to try out some local foods. We weren't in the mood for Whitey's so we hopped across the street. Rather, she pushed me in my wheelchair. The people that came out were SO kind, the vibe entering was just amazing. We knew we chose right. The place was filled. It smelled the perfect amount of spice, tactfully marinated meats and just...heaven. Fajitas, Burritos, Plates...you can't go wrong with any of them. We have come back several times this month and we are just elated with the Customer Service. Not only, we did not feel discriminated against or out of place. We felt welcomed. Thats been rare at times. I will forever come back.

when you have authentic Mexican, it is a treat.Pair that with a place that feels like you are in Mexico, and you are doing even better. That is the vibe you want. From there, the service is solid, although you nee to be able to hable poco espanol. they arent speaking a whole lot of english. We had lunch here and it was an absolute treat. The burrito was gigantic. The other orders at the table were exactly what they wanted. Everyone was thrilled. This is a great spot and I didnt even start talking abouthte sals bar and fresh chips!

What a delicious breakfast! I had the chilaquiles w/carnitas. The eggs were cooked perfectly. You order at the counter and they bring it out. The girl who helped me was so kind and patient while I decided. The coffee is good and the food flavorful (not salty), and piping hot! I could ask for much more. I had some time to kill and wanted to find a delicious independent little hole in the wall! Success!!! Definitely recommend.

I love it when there is a salsa bar and limes. Yes, they offer free chips. I ordered a crispy taco, but it wasn't that crispy, so it was okay. I also ordered two tacos, and they packed in the meat. I chose steak and cabeza. The meat flavor is okay, but overall, it's best with the sauce on top; it enhances the flavor. By the way, the taco cabeza meat costs 50 cents extra, though it's not listed on the menu.I ordered the green agua frescas drink, and it was good. If you're dining in, ask for an extra red cup with ice and pour your drink as you go to get the full amount. I forgot the flavors; all I know is it has pineapple, I think. The setting is nice and spacious. They also offer lunch combos and desserts.

I've been frequenting Covina Dona Chuyita lately after initially stopping by for a carnitas breakfast burrito, which was excellent, but the way. On other recent visits I've enjoyed the pollo and the carnitas tostadas; which were also exceptional. The employees are so kind and helpful. The salsa bar is not to be missed; I have no idea how it's made, but they have a creamy orange salsa that has literally changed my life - yes, salsa can change the world and this one has definitely changed mine.

WHY WE WENT HERE:- brunchTHE LOOK (FROM THE OUTSIDE):- located in an oddly shaped street corner of Drever St and Jefferson Blvd- parking on the street as well as in the rear THE LOOK (FROM THE INSIDE):- the restaurant is a hole in the wall with a good amount of seating throughout- there's a modern jukebox wall mounted by the register- I like how one of the walls has a license plate from all 32 states in Mexico THE MENU:- breakfast- meats and condiments- meat choice- tacos- a la carte- birria- combination plates- caldos/soups- shrimp combination- menudo on weekends- drinks- extrasWHAT WE ORDERED:- street tacos - asada (beef), cabeza (beef cheeks), lengua (tongue), tripa (small intestine), al pastor (pork)- taco de barbacoa dorado- quesabirria- consomeTHE TASTE:- all the street tacos were cooked well, but lacked seasoning (with al pastor as the exception); that's where the reliance on the toppings (sauteed onions, squeeze of lime, and salsas of choice come to play)- taco de barbacoa dorado and quesabirria were a bit plain as well- consome had more of a enchilada flavor to it*** overall WAY better than any of the Mexican places we've tried so far in NatomasCUSTOMER SERVICE:- you order at the register (located in the rear), pay, are provided with a table number, you seat yourself, and your order will arrive at your table
