Cilantro's Mexican Restaurant

Nope, never again. I absolutely love Mexican food and most of my reviews are about Mexican restaurants.My boss took me to lunch here today. He got a taco salad and I ordered two street tacos, one carnitas and one chicken. How could anyone possibly screw this up?Well both the chicken and carnitas were super dry and bland. Even slathering them with hot sauce couldn't help these ridiculously bad tacos. I also didn't like that you had to pay for chips.He said his taco salad was just okay.There is a Subway next door.....and I don't like Subway. But I would rather just go there instead of this place. Solid ONE star.

I went too this location weekly for 2 years for the Amazing Carnitas Super TacosJob was relocated.. so haven't been on a while.. Great service every time..

I really enjoyed this place. The workers were very kind and took time to make sure our tacos were delicious! I could tell they were grateful for our business considering how much rain was falling today.We ordered the 6 taco special extra crispy with chicken. They were well seasoned and crunchy how I like them.The Jimaca drink was freshly made and refreshing.I will definitely visit here again when in the area. They made us feel welcomed.Thank you

Carnitas Rolled Tacos and the Bacon Breakfast Burrito are the best things on the menu here. Everything else is ok. The carnitas rolled tacos are probably the best rolled tacos I have ever had. They are super crispy with a good portion of carnitas filling. Combined with the salad like toppings they make a perfect bite. I highly recommend trying them.

Their food is pretty good, especially compared to the other restaurants in Sacramento. I will choose this place over most of the other restaurants. Just sucks that they raised the prices so much.

Excellent food. Hidden gem right next to the freeway. If you want a delicious bite this is the place for you. Their steak fries and shrimp tacos are superb.

Quick service, small dinning area, and they have a side bar that you can select your own salsa. Gotta try their hot Cheetos burrito next.

The food was really good. We had the Street tacos and the California style tacos. They have a salsa bar. The chips are an extra fee. The fountain drinks weren't all working when we were there. They were out of the only drinks we really wanted. They had a good amount of seating and a TV with a soccer game on. The employees were all very nice.

I've heard/seen mixed reviews of Cilantro's. Today was my first time trying and it was hella good. Ordered an adobada quesadilla with guacamole. So much flavor, the right amount of crisp. Customer service was quick, friendly and efficient. I work close by and I'm glad I know now
