I've gone here twice now and I am a fan! They have cool street foods. The ones that I've tried and are my favorites are the fried flour with egg (bot chien) and the fried chicken cartilage with fish sauce. For the fried flour with egg, it was very crispy and flavorful. It came with some shredded green papaya, and I've actually never had this dish with papaya. It was so refreshing to have on the side. I also enjoyed the dipping sauce that accompanied this dish.We also got the durian crepe during my first visit here, and that was also delicious. I highly recommend the durian crepe if you are a durian fan. It was fragrant, had a good durian taste, and not too sweet. For our second visit, we just got the fried chicken cartilage. The batter is seasoned nicely. It reminds me of popcorn chicken batter, and it's not too salty. They lightly coat the fried chicken cartilage with a fish sauce glaze. At first, it smells a bit fishy, but not overpowering. The fish sauce smell was not too prominent when eating it...I am someone who is pretty sensitive to fish sauce, too, so the fact I can enjoy it is saying something! It's a bit on the sweet side. It almost reminded me of eating honey butter chicken (totally not the same, but I had that thought cross my mind). I love that the fried chicken cartilage is crunchy and chewy as expected. The shop is very clean and the staff are very friendly. They are very willing to explain the menu. One menu item that I wasn't sure about was the ram eggrolls. That dish is an eggroll that has pork and shrimp but no vegetables (they specifically said no carrots) and is rolled up in rice paper. When the rice paper is fried it is extra crunchy (I'm a big fan of crunchy textures!)They also explained to us that the snow chicken has a cheese flavoring on top.During our first visit, we also did get a milk tea with flan. I remembered the flan being perfectly made as if it was a standalone dessert, and not just a topping as an afterthought. It was a thick custard that held together, not gelatinous/jello like texture.

Try out the spot twice so far. First time on Christmas eve and got a small cute key chain. Appreciate that they're giving a sweet nice surprise for their customers.Tried the rice paper roll, never had this version before but it was pretty interesting. In all the food I tried I wish there was Chinsu hot sauce or something since it can benefit from being spicy. Fried rice cake was good , could be more salty maybe next time I should dump the whole sauce in and let it soak. And again hot sauce can kick it to the next level. Also got the rice paper salad, it's rare to find that in the area so was happy. Drink wise - the pandan milk is kinda disappointing. I love Sam Dua dam in VN and I get why they gave a lot of ice bc when it melt a bit it would be good - but I don't feel like the pandan itself is authentic to the Vietnam version. Corn milk with pandan jelly on the other hand is really good. Strong corn flavor, enough sweetness. This one is definitely a favorite. The menu is pretty cool and there's a lot of dessert I need to try next time. Service wise they're really sweet - the way the cashier talk make you feel like you're good friend or a relative. I get a very homey vibe which is really comforting

Yay for a new dessert and drink spot! They're currently offering 15% off during soft opening. It's located right next to Gong Cha in the same parking lot as Duc Huong and Asian Pearl, so it's definitely a high traffic area. The options were actually kinda limited for drinks. I asked for something non caffeinated for our kids and they suggested a Thai lemon tea... it has tea so that wouldn't work. They do have a corn milk but otherwise there are no other non-caffeinated options. I picked the milk tea with flan and it was definitely on the sweet side, wish there were options to adjust sweetness! The flan had good flavor once I could taste it after the drink was gone, but otherwise you can't taste it over the sweetness of the drink. The menu could benefit from some photos. I was intrigued by some Instagram pics I saw but once I got there I didn't know what I'd want off of the names, so I ended up not getting any desserts. I don't know if I'm gonna be rushing back to come since I wasn't super impressed on the first visit but I'd be open to returning after they have been open a while!

Came back again after grand opening. A lot new drinks and snacks were updated ! My favorite is their fried rice cake, which is most popular food of my childhood. Recall alot ! The full topping milk tea is favorable with full of toppings, it is worthy money. The restaurant is pretty clean.

I had visited them when they had their soft opening. They took over the spot of the previous Serenity Dessert for those who are wondering.Chuk Chuk serves boba, dessert, snacks and street food with a focus on Vietnamese items. One thing that caught my eye on the menu is the corn milk pandan jelly drink which I've never had or seen it anywhere before so I had to try it. You can definitely taste the corn in it, with a bit of sweetness. I really liked it! There were several things that were sold out so might need to come back again to try the others, but we did get durian crepes which were already in a box. It comes in three. We tried this when we got home. The pillowy soft crepes were delicious. If you're a durian lover like me, you would love this!

Rating is based on service and food today. I know it's fairly knew when we went last month and theres been changes since then. I really enjoyed the food and beverages there. The durian avocado was my favorite. I wished we had more durian in the drink. It was creamy and smooth. The rice paper street snack was a little different than what I had when I was in vietnam. The paper was cut too thin/small so it became soggy by the time we had it at the table. I'd prefer it cut bigger for more texture. The flavor was good tho. I wish we were able to try more but we came later in the day so some items were sold out. This place was super busy in the evening around 6pm. Everyone table were packed with people. I'd definitely come back to try more stuff.

ChukChuk has the most authentic Vietnamese snacks and drinks in Sac town. This place has never failed to satisfy my Viet snacks cravings. It is nostalgia reminiscing from childhood taste which I thought I would not find again in the US. Overall, food/drinks 10/10, service 8.5/10, Ambiance 9/10

Drink was good.I was looking for a savory snack. Decided to try one of their snacks-Vietnamese papaya salad, asked if the sauce was savory or sweet; clerk said yes to my request for a more savory sauce and the sauce turned out to be unchange-able (pre-packed) and sweet. (He may need to request a translator if he didn't understand me or the menu) I ate the salad without the sauce.
