Based on good Yelp reviews, our family of 6 went to China Gourmet last Sunday evening. The food was very good .. generous portions at modest prices .. but what earned this establishment a fifth star was amazing customer service. Our orders were prepared efficiently with great quality, and the young lady who waited on us did everything she could to make our evening delightful.The restaurant was not very busy .. probably because of the time that we came in. Of course this makes it easier to provide superior service, but it does not make it easier for a great restaurant to stay in business. That's why I would encourage others in the Sacramento area to give them a try. Like us, I think you will be pleased and want to come back to try more of their delicious food.

Nice clean and quiet establishment. Customer service is always with a smile. They have patience and will nicely explain anything on the menu. My niece has to go here at minimum twice a week. A small family owned restaurant and definitely a staple in our community. The food is Always fresh, hot and Delicious!!!

Not good and not worth it. The staff is friendly but the quality of food is just not good. The pot stickers isn't what it's supposed to be, the egg rolls as well. The hot and sour soup that we also ordered was just hot, there's no spice in it. Based on the reviews, we thought this would be our "go-to" asian place but we're wrong and would have to definitely try other Chinese restaurant.

Order for couples of pax. There were two people ahead of us. Food served after long wait.Came appetizing to eye. The food was okay, some food came a little warm then easily gets cold like after 3-5mins.Other food came totally not heated up and cold to eat. Ambiance Looks fine.There was one man staff outside, 1 cook that went out once.Hope they get better with food temperature,so we can make them our to go food.

Ordered the Mongolian chicken combo. Came with soup and 2 spring rolls and rice. Good portion size with lots of flavors. Staff was very tentative and friendly. Dining area was cozy but quiet. Lots of foot traffic for takeout.

This has to be the best Chinese food in Sacramento!We are proud regulars! Every time we have family in town, this is where we go.They all have enjoyed everything as much as we do, and they all order different items than us and have nothing but great reviews as well! The customer service is a whole different level! It is A+++. One of my family member is disabled and they are always wonderful, helpful, and incredibly accommodating to us when we are helping them!It is an extremely comfortable place to eat while you enjoy some amazingly good Chinese food! They have a large amount of space and tables, big or small if needed!

Ordered a rather large dinner for 2 on Valentine's Day around dinnertime, and was ready in 25 minutes! Young man and woman at the counter were so friendly!! Food was amazing, and a fair price too. I ordered online on their website for takeout but next time I'll probably eat in. They had a really nice atmosphere and clean restaurant!
