Now that work moved to West Sacramento, it's more convenient for me to sometimes go home for lunch (no WFH for me), and I usually take the West El Camino exit from I-80 Eastbound to do so. From that off-ramp I turn left, but you just can't ignore this orange Chilepino food truck on the right side! It's only actually parked there during lunchtime, since when I pass by there in the evening it's usually some other kind of fruit/produce stand. It's in the unpaved dirt corner immediately to the right of the ramp's right-turn lane onto El Camino, customers create their own parking spaces if you know what I mean. Between the Arco (AM/PM) and 49er Truck Stop/Chevron. I finally took a close enough look at the truck's name and found it on Yelp, curiously intrigued by the name and menu/pricing (lumpia too?). I really miss the Mexican food/taco trucks in Woodland's authenticity and this was close to home...actually exactly halfway between home and work! Menu item options include: Tacos ($1.75), Super Burrito ($7), Cheeseburger ($5.50), Combo Plate - 2 tacos, rice, beans ($8.50), Large Quesadilla ($6), Torta ($7), and choice of meats are carne asada, marinated chicken, al pastor, carnitas, or cabeza. Drinks range from Pepsi to Coke ($1.25) to Jarritos ($1.75). No more lumpia on this current menu. This Little Miss Piggy [moi] got not only three tacos (1 each cabeza, carnitas, chicken), yes to the onions and cilantro, and the milder green salsa, but also a carne asada quesadilla too for good measure! Came out to $11.25 plus tax. I basically tried all the meats except the al pastor this go. One customer ahead of me got a torta, and the wait wasn't very long at all. A few other guys pulled in after I ordered, midway through noon hour. Social distancing enforced.Firstly attacking the cheesy quesadilla, the steak was tender and tasty, no tough chew. Four slices/wedges total in the container, pretty filling on its own. The salsa may be mild but I did get a little sniffle after starting the marinated chicken taco, perhaps something in the marinade. The chicken was good, generously loaded corn tortillas as were each of the street tacos. The carnitas were also very nice and tender, not dry/fibrous, definitely porky in a good way. My ultimate favorite though, hands-down, has to be the cabeza. Truly yummy melt-in-your-mouth, rich softness. If you're not daring into the more exotic meats like cabeza (or even lengua at other places), then skip it. If you prefer more spicy then give that a go here too. The tacos are more than just a few bites' worth, hefty but not too heavy on the stomach either. Everything I got was delicious. I will be back for a burrito in the very near future, and may bring a coworker or two. Great food always does that to ya. Spread the word and let's support this local vendor Chilepino!Update: 2nd visit, tried the cabeza, al pastor, and carne asada tacos. The cabeza was still delicious as ever, the al pastor spice flavor was great without being too spicy hot of a kick, and the asada was just as good as I had had in the quesadilla version. Yum! Forgot the lime wedges this time though, but did opt for a tamarind Jarritos soda.

Super conveniently located right off the 80, this is a solid spot to stop at for a quick bite to eat.The taco was one of the better street tacos I've had in a long time & the chicken burrito was tasty as well! The asada was very tasty and had a great texture and the chicken was marinated with a delicious flavor without being spicy.Quick, easy, affordable - great spot for lunch!Next time I'll have to grab a few more tacos with different meat, but I'll most definitely be going back here again!

Immediately off the side of the I-80 Northbound offramp on El Camino Ave. is a bright orange food truck that seems to have popped up out of nowhere. Chilepino Taqueria spends its days in this one spot for any passing cars and workers at the nearby housing developments. The menu sports a simple offering of tacos, burritos, tortas, quesadillas, and even a hamburger or order of lumpia. Asada (grilled beef), cabeza (fatty beef head), al pastor (grilled pork), carnitas (simmered pork), and marinated chicken are your choices for meats here. All at a really great price even for a food-truck. At the helm are two gentlemen who pleasantly converse and offer assistance to any questions you may have. For a first go around I ordered three tacos: two pastor and one cabeza with everything on it. After a short wait I was handed a standard white clamshell container wherein lie three corn tortillas held marinated meets, white onion, cilantro, and some red hot sauce. The melt-in-your-mouth cabeza had a delightfully rich and fatty beef taste that benefits from the sweet onion and the small bite of heat from the salsa. The pastor here has a nice spice-heavy marinade that packs a good amount of flavor without being overwhelmingly spicy. Great little bites that resulted in a second visit where I ordered an asada burrito. In the comfortable housing of tin foil came the cylindrical delight filled with beef, rice, beans, pico, and some extra hot sauce. It's a nice spice-tasting burrito that only just needs a bit of a break by sour cream. But no matter. It's simply delicious and filling. I hope they don't disappear any time soon since they have some stellar bites for a decent price. It's a bit funky to get to - seeing how you need to immediately peel off the curb of the road into the dirt - but it's simply worth the stop. A fabulous 5 from me.

Just finished a delicious chicken burrito from the truck (off West El Camino Ave and 80).The tortilla was hot and soft, chicken was deliciously marinated, salsa was awesome, and there were beans, cilantro, sour cream, and onions too.So yummy I ordered a second burrito for later. Will definitely be stopping again!

Always happy to see this truck in the neighborhood. Everything I've had is pretty good but prefer the street tacos and a Jarritos. The prices are very good and the wait is never long.
