Chicken N Waffles

I've been looking forward to trying Bubba best and Jamblaya Shrimp at Chicken n waffles for awhile now, and was so glad that I did! The food was so delicious and the service was really great, too!"Server Fatima she was a nice and calm lady.

Came here after searching for a hamburger joint around 4 am. We have been here once before after I flew in to the Sac airport.We came in, there was another table with a couple of people. Kind of empty for 4 am. We looked over the menu and the options were really good. So good it was hard to decide what to get.After looking over the menu for about 5 minutes, I decided on chicken strips and waffle. My husband had the waffle breakfast with hash browns and sausage.There was only 1 server, but he made sure to attend to our needs. We waited about 15 minutes and our food was served. My husband's order came with home fries instead of hash brown. My husband brought it to the server's attention and took care of getting him the hash browns without taking the plate back to fix, like some other places may have done.The service was great. As we sat and ate our food, there were crowds of people coming in. The waffle had some pumpkin pie spice taste to it. It was good. The chicken was tasty and tender. I asked for honey mustard sauce to dip it in. My husband's sausage was well seasoned and not fatty at all. Generous portion of sausage and potatoes.There was plenty of space to sit in the restaurant. They have 2 sections to sit in.We would definitely come back and try the other food. I would love to try the oxtails with all the side options. Definitely worth trying.

Open 24 hours!! Driving to get to my lil bros house off the freeway and the Chicken & waffles sign caught my eye. It was almost noon. Decided to get some for my niece and daughter. Very friendly staff when walked in. I Sat down & She let me view the menu first. Seats available on both sides of restaurant. Many diners coming in. Ordered to go : a chicken wing & waffle, tenders & waffles , and fries & tenders combo. Total was about $55 - they did not skimp on the condiments, hot sauce, syrup, butter, ranch and ketchup all included in order with some utensils. Tasted the chicken wing and was very juicy, just enough wing sauce but dunked in the ranch and hot sauce and it was delicious. Fries were good, wanted a bit more in box. Tenders were good. Better dunked in the ranch. Kids devoured the meal and left only 1 waffle. I should of ordered more ‍

Nothing to write home about and probably just a one and done experience. Only reason we tried this spot is because my cousin-in-law had a gift certificate from his work. The chicken was over cooked and had barely any meat on it. The waffles were warm and soggy. I think the only thing that was decent was my cousin's jambalaya. This dish had pretty good flavor and it was a pretty large dish that could feed 2 people.

This was my first tome there, the food was nasty, never will I go there. I ordered a ribbon eye medium wel donel and got a carne asada thin slice over cooked. They were only willing to compensate for 50% of the item price. Even though I cut a slice but never tasted it. The service was terrible. They never came to check on us. Had to ask for a fill on my drink. After that they did not check up on us. Bad service.2 star rating....

Oh my goodness...I hurt myself eating this delicious food! I'll be back. Shrimp and grits, chicken and waffles.

Woww... this place is ok. The one in Elk Grove is way better, and there is a huge difference, too. It's open 24 hours. Our waiter was good. The chicken was alright. Don't get the breast it too dry. It's not like KFC breast where it still moist. The waffle was good. Can't go wrong with waffle, lol.

Too pricey! Six wings and fries! $22.00? Then I had to wait my entire 30 minute lunch break for my food. It was delicious, but again $22.00?

This review is specifically for the Marry Me Chicken. Got back from a long flight and went here immediately after landing. I saw this on the menu and after seeing the recipes EVERYWHERE and not having cooked it myself I knew I had to try it. I didn't know what to expect and I was completely floored. This is gonna be a ridiculous comparison but for me it like a multiverse country fried steak lol. The crispy crunchy fried chicken filet doused in the creamy sauce, sitting on top a generous amount of mashed potatoes also drowning in the creamy sauce. Not only that it comes with a mf side. I got the Mac and cheese and it was pretty good but the Marry Me Chicken and mashed potatoes were what really shone for me. It was a lot of food since it came with that side. I'm a big guy and I can EAT. But on this episode of Man VS. Food, food won cuz I couldn't finish it all lol. Also my sister tried my food and regretted she didn't get this also

One of the few places open on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day. The food honestly tastes homemade, which is awesome in my book. The chicken is well seasoned and not super breaded. Waffles are tasty and eggs are cooked to order. The beef bacon was crunchy and delicious! The kids burger was a legit burger, not just some frozen patty. There was just one server, but she was super efficient, and we hope she has a blessed Christmas!
