Listen , I am a regular! Honest I think this the best Chinese food in Elk Grove .I ordered more times than I can count and the food is always fresh! I always order to go so I never dined in.My food is always ready quickly and is always hot and fresh ! They don't skimp out on the portions since it's a take out order like most places do .And honestly their prices are good for the quality of their food . They also give you a punch card but somehow I always lose mine . I have tried their walnut shrimp and it was delicious. I also tried magnolian beef , vegetarian chow main , and veggie egg rolls . Everything is always made fresh and filled with flavor and not oily and greasy which I really appreciate. In fact everything is always delicious that I never get to take pictures because I just dive right in!

Chef Bo is located in the shopping center with Best Buy and Old Navy so parking is plentiful.The restaurant is warm, clean, and spacious. We've dined at Chef Bo's several times. They're friendly and attentive. And, the dishes are fresh and reasonably priced.At our most recent visit, we tried the Beef chow fun and braised beef stew noodle soup. Both were good but the seasoning was a bit lacking in balance and flavor for our taste.

There were no seating wait time. Just had to try this restaurant for the first time. Our server Kitty among the rest of the staff that serviced our table, they all work simultaneously together. That makes this place, the Yelp Bonus. We ordered the lunch special Chicken & Vegetables with Fried Rice and one Chicken & Vegetable s with Vegetable Chow Mein. The food was served piping hot with lots of flavor. We will be back.

I came here for a lunch date with my 2year old. The staff were friendly and attentive. We ordered the chicken and string beans with chow mein. I also got the combination mu shu. The lunch special came with hot and sour soup, it was really peppery, you can see the pepper in the picture, but I personally like pepper but someone may think it's a tad much. The chow mein was pretty bland so of course I added soy sauce and my mu shu mixture to it, and it worked! All in all it was a good experience especially for the price.

Imagine it's like eating wallpaper paste. Had the Salt and Pepper Pork Chop, House Chow Fun, and Potstickers delivered. It tasted like Cheryl at the next table in the Szechuan restaurant ordered it. "I'll have the Braised Szechuan Chicken but I don't want any spice in it..." Noodles were overcooked and tasteless...pretty much everything else was, too...pork chops were dripping in grease...the filling in the potstickers was tasty but the wrap was overcooked...not going back any time soon...

Ended up getting Chef Bo one night during the holiday weekend and the service was very prompt and the food came out pretty fast. We got the potstickers, chow mein and chow fun.The potstickers had a bit of tougher skin but the filling was good. The chow mein, was your typical chow mein that you would expect so no surprises there. Chow fun is typically my go to noodle dish but the noodles here was clumped together so it was a couple of noodles layered on top of each other and not separated so you couldn't get that charred taste from the wok. A bit underseasoned for me.It does look like they have some lunch specials and the other dishes look good, so I would probably come back for that.

Excellent food with good quality meats and tons of flavor. Everything you order is amazing. The service is outstanding, everyone is so sweet. The restaurant is always clean and inviting. My favorite is the salt and pepper pork chops, chow mein,, fried rice, sizzling rice soup and egg rolls.
