Cheesesteak & Grill Stop

I REALLY like this place!Excellent Swiss Mushroom Burger with fries, cooked exactly how I wanted it!All for under 11.00. Including tax...Can't beat that at ANY fast food place! Generous portion of hot crispy fries (and I'm picky about my fries).Burger was seasoned perfectly and not overly cooked, which is what I asked for. Juicy and yummy. Super friendly and helpful mom and pop owners I highly recommend this establishment for both quality and value!

Friday, 10/11/2024 - Drove by here and saw Cheesesteak & Grill Stop. Address is 1870 Prairie City Rd, Ste 250, Folsom, CA 95630. We decided to stop and try them. Upon arrival...Pros1) located in a little shopping plaza with Safeway, Nail business, Bambu drinks, etc. 2) large parking lot. Plenty of parking. 3) it was quick and easy to get our food. There was no line. We walked in, ordered, waited about 10 to 15 minutes, got our nice hot food and left. 4) Cheesesteak with teriyaki sauce was great!! The bread was soft. Made it easy to eat. Fries tasted freshly made. 5) restaurant was tiny, buy looked clean. 6) the cashier lady was very nice. Cons1) wish the kids menu had a little more options. Conclusion Great place. We will definitely go back here again should we be in the area and need a quick grab-and-go. Located in a nice area, they were friendly and professional, service was quick, food made fresh and it was good tasting. If you pass by here, give them a try! We'll have to try a different menu item next time.

This place is awesome! It's a little bit pricy hut the lady at the desk Is so nice! She's like "Here's your food" with a smile.. And the ambiance is great too.

Food is good. We got a Philly cheesesteak with grilled onion. The bread is perfectly toasted. A little crispy on the outside and soft and pillowy on the inside. The beef is tender and juicy and along with that melty gooey cheese omg so good. I personally like it with some ketchup but you can't go wrong with other sauces too.The place is not big but clean and cozy. A very nice grab a quick bite place.Service is top notch. So many small details and really made us feel comfortable and cared for. The lady behind the counter wiped the pos machine before we press on it. Hygienic. Since we ordered one sandwich to share, the cook brought out a second plate for us. Just the attention to detail is top notch. Love this place.I will come back to try more!!

Place is a small mom & pops shop and appears basic upon entrance, but dont be fooled, the food and customer service is amazing. Place can get pretty packed during lunchtime so be prepared to wait a bit for your food to come out, but it is worth the wait. Came in as a group of 4 and we were still able to find seating, but I did notice many people did take out orders, so I suppose seating isnt always a problem. Highly recommend this place if you're in the mood for a good ol cheesesteak!

Great wings and pretty good cheese steaks. Ordered a New York Grinder with extra cheese. I feel like Ron Swanson would approve of this sandwich. The sandwich was stuffed with well seasoned meat and the bread was a nice soft roll. I don't believe I got the extra cheese and only had a few slices of grilled onions and mushrooms. Staff are friendly and there's not much of an ambience to speak of since it's a small sandwich shop.

Having been here 3x times now I think it's time for a review. This place is located in a busy plaza that includes a Safeway. The business isn't the biggest. But inside there is plenty of seating. I didn't notice any TV's to watch the game. None the less plenty of space. I ordered the mushroom cheese steak a few times. It's my favorite right now. So tasty. The steak is cut very thin. Just how you'd want it in a cheese steak. The one thing I'm very picky about with my sandwiches is the softness of the bread. And the bread they use is nice and soft. Delicious. My wife and I always order fries. The portions of fries you get is huge and can be easily shared with someone. The last time we decided to try the fried mushrooms. They were delicious. We'll be getting that everytime now. One thing I would say is the size of the steaks. The regular size isn't very big so I now order the large size. It's just something to be aware of. All in all if you want a delicious cheese steak, this is your place.

This place is a hidden gem. The place is clean and the staff are very friendly. They were surprised when I asked for a cheesesteak with no cheese!! What?!! I was splitting my sandwich with my friend so they offered the cheese on the side; very nice gesture! We got the combo #2. Very delicious.

Best cheesesteak sandwich I ever had! I chose the #2 with mushrooms added. Yummy! Everything is made fresh to order and the fries are great too!

The food is so good. My fav is the CGS special with no onions . Very nice people as well
