Chando's Tacos

I really wanted to love this place but unfortunately it wasn't for me. None of the meats were great and I tried all I tried all of them. The tortilla kept sticking to parchment paper and's as soon as I tried to eat the taco it completely fell apart. At the end of the meal, I was completely sad because I had not enjoyed any of it. The ambiance was mellow and I'm guessing it's a to go place because seating was limited in the back. It was clean nonetheless. The service was also lovely. They were quick and super friendly. So, I'd say you can try for yourself but I have to continue my search for good tacos in Sacramento.

Overrated. No parking, the tables were dirty and the service was mediocre. Al pastor quesadilla: 2/5, what you'd expect at a Taco Bell. The meat was extremely dry and the tortilla was really small. We asked for sauce and they said it cost extra, which is fine but we couldn't pay for it since they didn't accept less than $5 on credit card. They should have asked when we ordered.

LOVE THE FOOD!! I'm a HUGE Mexican foodie and this place always has great food. The asada tacos are my favorite and I've tried nearly all of them so definitely recommend these over the other options. I tried three of their tamales and I would suggest having the rajas con queso and the pork tamales but the chicken one was good as well. Also the portions and the prices are reasonable so definitely check it out and they have some daily specials. Asada Tacos: 11/10 Rajas con queso: 10/10 Pork tamales: 10/10Chicken Tamales: 8/10The service was great but the location is not the greatest. The dining option is an outdoor space that is covered and it's not in a great part of town. I'd suggest eating in your car or taking it to go.

I saw this place on a youtube video that it is a "must see". The lady who works there seems less then thrilled to work here. No bathroom or place to sit. They did have a little overhang to stand under when it was raining.We got the birria tacos, not good, needs flavoring. We also got chicken tacos which were kind of dry. The asada one was tasty though! Wish we got only asada.

My favorite location is the little hut near the Harley Davidson shop.They have the best burritos!!

I was training in Sacramento and saw that the famous Chando's was just around the corner so I had to give them a try! I've had them at a catered wedding a long time ago but had never been to their brick and mortar.Coincidentally it was taco Tuesday and they offer $2.50 tacos with a wide variety of meat options. I ordered 2 asada and 2 fish tacos. I was a little taken aback that my fish tacos rang up somewhere around $3.79 each. I asked the lady if the fish was not part of the deal because fish was on the list to which she replied "not the fried fish". Hmmm ok a little misleading, but not something worth me getting into a huff about. The food came out pretty quickly and I was sure to ask for some of their habanero salsa. Glad I did because it was . The fish tacos were delicious! Fish lightly fried and topped with cabbage and crema. The asada tacos were ok, nothing to rave about. All in all this is a solid taco spot!

This is my Roman Empire. It's been 5 years since we swung in here on a roadtrip and they are still hands down the best tacos we have ever had.

So I've been customer there couple times so i got service last after all people include three persons who arrived and paid after me. Now I can say it happened just because I'm different than they are, I don't see any other cause. First time I haven't pay attention to this aspect, but second time it was clarified. So I can use any another places with same cuisine.

Always great food and can't beat their quesabirria (yet) Yummy salsas Arden has the old authentic ambiance of a drive in! Window service and take to go or sit on covered patio! If you need to sit inside, go to Chandos on Power Inn or on J street!

My favorite tacos, and my favorite Chando's location on Arden Way! It's a walk up style order at the window type restaurant with some outdoor seating in the back. Parking can be difficult at times but it's well worth it for the amazing tacos!! Definitely recommend!!!
