Cesar's Quick Lunch

I just had a great lunch here with two hungry guys.We had agua fresca, quesadillas with chicken, chicken street tacos and a few different burritos.Everything was excellent and fresh! The high quality of the ingredients really shone through the flavorsAnd the way I felt after the meal, which was wonderful! Cesar is charming and passionate about his food and I will be back again to try the pastor torta, which was highly recommended also.

I was driving through the lovely tiny foothills town of Penn Valley when I eyed this gorgeous, sleek, shiny, and modern food truck with a queue of folks in front of it. Why not... so I stopped to check out the situation. I'm always game for street tacos.Cesar's Quick Lunch is the name of the biz. It was parked on Penn Valley Road in the True Value hardware parking lot. Next to the truck are a couple of picnic tables with sun umbrellas. The tables are painted a super cute lime green. Street tacos $1.75. Meat choices: Asada, carnitas, al pastor, Chile verde, and pollo. Burritos $7. Nachos $7. Tortas $7. Bottled Mexican Cokes and Jarritos. Ya! Soda made from real cane sugar and not that HFCS madness. I ordered an asada and a pastor street taco each. The plate came with sliced limes and slices of jalapeños. Mmmm... both tacos were good! But the al pastor was a big hit with me. It was so darn flavorful. It was a bit messier to eat because of that awesome marinade. I'm not complaining tho. Delicious! They also cater. Love that we have this option in such a small town with almost no food options. The food is killer, the portions are perfect and the service is amazing! Thank you Cesar's!

Great food truck in my town, a place where it's really hard to find anything. It's also the best casual Mexican food I've had in Nevada County. Nice ppl run this local chain.

Really yummy asada tacos! And I am a taco expert. Came at 4:40p on a Tuesday and he was still open. Very friendly and tacos were ready in a couple mins

Absolutely mouth-wateringly DELICIOUS!!! Cesar takes pride (and an obvious pleasure) in providing folks (customers) he considers neighbors & friends, with a quality, flavorful array of hunger-solving foods that are generous in portion yet... never quite enough, as once it's devoured..... you wish you'd ordered more!!!I've known Cesar for a few years now and he knows I like my Mexican delicacies HOT... spicy... like, if I'm not tearing up as I eat, it's juuuuuust not quite Hot enough! He's learned to keep me in tears & he has no qualms with my special request Besides his glowing Yelp rating here, another 'tell' as to Cesar's mass popularity is the crowd that gathers daily for their "Fix" of his scrumptious, stomach-satisfying cuisine If you're hungry... NOW you know where to go‼

Best street tacos around! Very authentic and the price is right!Can't complain about anything. Service is quick and friendly.

Food was ok. I ordered the shrimp tacos, I'm sure the inside of the breading was raw. It felt wet and undercooked. My brother ordered an adobada/al pastor torta and they gave him asada. They didn't return it because they said it was good. Their beans have little flavor as well as their rice. The staff was friendly and we got our food pretty quick. The restaurant itself is kinda awkward as it only had small tall tables against the wall when there's so much room in the middle. Was it a good place to try! Yes. Would we go back? Probably not.

We ate here for the first time. The customer service was great. The food was very delicious. The burrito I ordered was huge. I loved it!! I recommend to everyone to try this restaurant. The restaurant was clean.
