Cesar's Quick Lunch

This small mexican food place is located in the Fowler Center in Grass Valley ( where B and C and Savmart is).I stopped in here because i had just had a pedicure next door (Bless Nails..my favorite).I have seen people coming in and out to pick up their food to go. It appears they get ptetty busy during lunch time.I wasnt very hungry but wanted to get their carne asada taco ( childrens size) to go. Although the meat flavor was good but they do not offer any conplimentary salsa!! I was a bit shocked because most places in Nevada County offer at least 1 salsa. They were going to charge me 25 cents for a tiny little container so i passed on that. The location offers many employees in this complex to grab a bite to eat. There is limited seating inside.The cook in the back was very friendly and cheerful to everyone walking into this place to order.I think if they offered complimentary chips and salsa then they could be mote competitive .Overall its a great place to get fast mexican food. I wont visit again because there are so many options in Nevada County that offer so much more with your meal.

The fish tacos were on point; fresh; hot; delicious! So good I didn't even have time to take a photo (; definitely recommend! Friendly customer service as well.

Carnitas taco ....no flavor , huge bite of fat . Pepper and carrots are not even hot at all . the meat is very wet and not refried , no salt or pepper to put on it . It was so good when they first opened now its just crap..The lime was sweet but so what all over wet meat .

The birria burrito with a side of consomé is SO good! Definitely my favorite burrito in town.

I would make love to that quesadilla con asada. It was so good!! Reasonably priced, held up well in the fridge, and absolutely delicious. I've also heard very good things about the garbage burrito. I got the quesadilla con asada and my friend got a vegetarian quesadilla (they subbed rice and beans for meat), we each got a side of rice and beans, and their strawberry drink. All of it was amazing. Quesadilla was bigger and better than the one at el favorito and Maya's, and cost less! The people were so kind and friendly and the service was quick. This isn't a place to sit and eat, but a takeout place-- perfect for grabbing food to bring home or to the river or somewhere. I will absolutely be returning.

Absolutely love this place. The food is original, flavorful, and overall just great. The atmosphere is super inviting and the service is always amazing.

My two favorite things are the torta al pastor, and the Chile relleno burrito... Everything is so delicious and the people are so friendly. Highly recommend it!

We had an amazing dinner tonight! Fresh ingredients with great flavor and reasonable prices. The staff were incredibly nice and I love how clean it is.

The food is so amazing! Everytime you walk in you are welcomed by the most genuine people. You can tell every single person that works there cares about the food and customer satisfaction! Cesar is so awesome too! You always see him cooking and he makes sure everything is to perfection!!! You guys are awesome!
