For a place that has scrimp vegan options, I was pleasantly surprised how accommodating they were for someone with a diet like mine. The server was fantastic and super helpful and gave me some options that would fit my needs. I ended up going with a baked sweet potato without the butter and an all you can eat salad and they were delightful.I didn't think I would get this much options at a steakhouse like this, but I was very satisfied with my experience.

Cattlemen's has a large bar and a great happy hour if I lived close by it would be a great spot for watching sports. We came for their Original Steak Dinner for 2 $80. It includes bread, salad, appetizer, 2 entrees, and a desert. While nothing was great everything was good. The 14oz ribeye is a nice steak and cooked perfectly. There is often a wait here so make reservations in advance.

Corporate needs to shop their own business here. It will be abundantly clear at the lack of care and plentiful arrogance and poor customer service at the bar. Since Michelle stopped working the bar, it's truly not worth going. There is a blonde bartender there that indulges herself. I suggest a sack lunch in the parking lot. Better service.

I booked the banquet room and lunch buffet for my staff and it was absolutely fantastic. Our server was MJ and he was on it. He made sure we had all we needed and more. I did the banquet lunch menu steak and chicken and it was the right amount of food for lunch time. Lots of leftovers. I also added two platters of the combo appetizers and boy o boy was it finger licking good! The event space was clean and decorated beautifully will definitely come back to host events!

This is the second Cattlemens that I've been to in a week! A group of 5 of us went for a birthday dinner around 5:30pm last night and we were seated within 25 minutes or so. It was very packed as their dinner service and happy hour starts at 4pm during the week.My husband and I got the Steak Dinner Combo for 2 for $80 that included an appetizer, 2 entrees and a dessert. I ordered the Rib Eye with Mixed Veggies. The Rib Eye was cooked well, but the veggies were actually very cold. I don't like sending food back so I powered through and ate them, but it definitely was a bummer. The salad and Artichoke Dip were spot on though, but the Brownie Sundae we ordered for dessert was not good. The brownie was hard and tasted old. My mom also said her Prime Rib was better at the other location.I think the Cattlemens in Dixon is better than this Rancho Cordova location. The entire meal was better in Dixon unfortunately.Our server Bailey was super sweet and attentive though, but I think we'll drive back out to Dixon next time!

Was skeptical at first when I was reading the reviews. BUT went ahead and gave it a try. It was actually good. The food and service were excellent. Sam was our server and she explained everything in details. This was an awesome first visit. Will definitely come back again! 10/10

I've visited the Rancho Cordova location a few times now, and it can be somewhat inconsistent with food and service delivery. Tonight, Cattlemen's was a four star experience! Our steaks came out medium rare as ordered, and the dinner for two deal is always our go-to order.The service was great and may even be the best that I've had at this location! Our server Shea was very attentive, and I noticed that he had the certified trainer title on his name tag. As a former Cattlemen's employee at a different location, certified trainers are recognized for their thorough menu knowledge and steps of service, and Shea was exceptional on all counts. Our party of two was seated next to a large party, which initially worried me, but this location has never been known for noise or rambunctious diners. It's a great place to stop by for a celebratory steak, and I'll continue to recommend Cattlemen's for anyone looking to celebrate a special occasion.

Stopped in for a nice New Years dinner. Service was great! Waitress Kalee was very nice and continued to check on us periodically throughout our visit. Ordered the dinner for 2 with The Rustic 14oz Ribeye and 6 oz Filet Mignon and the tumbleweed as an appetizer with a Cowpie Brownie Sundae for desert. Steaks cooked to perfection, sides were good and Desert was perfect portion for 2. This Cattlemen's location is my go to. Food always comes out hot and taste so good. The steaks are always cooked perfectly. Restaurant environment great for a nice relaxing dinner.

My first time at Cattlemens & I really enjoyed it! I made a reservation through their website for 8 at 6:15pm & though we were a larger group they were actually able to seat us sooner! First & foremost, our server Emily was AWESOME! She was friendly, prompt & attentive. It was a Saturday evening & the restaurant was packed, yet she still made time to check on us multiple times. She was even able to split our bill multiple ways which was super helpful! My husband & I ordered the steak dinners for two, 1 app, 2 entrees & desert. We ordered the artichoke dip, steak & shrimp scampi & the 14 oz. Ribeye; our food was cooked just how we like it & it was all very filling!We also got complimentary house salad & bread -- both SO YUMMY. Also, each person gets to select their own dressing, how cool is that!? I also ordered one of their non-alcoholic drinks, the Momo, it was like a mojito super refreshing. Very satisfied with my first experience at Cattlemens & we will definitely be returning!

We visited the Folsom Blvd. restaurant last night, which will be the last time we return. There are 2 reasons: 1, the steaks that everyone ordered were tough, stringy & not very flavorful. This is the 4th try with the same results. 2, since the quality was lacking, the price for 5 people over $350 was simply not justified.Don't get me wrong, I would gladly pay the price for quality food, but you can't say we didn't give them the opportunity. They have simply not delivered on the quality that brought me to them in the first place. I'm highly disappointed.
