Carnitas El Rincon

Bought a pound of carnitas here. So yummy! This place is a keeper for me. I will be back. The employees work hard, there were a lot of customers which is a very good indicator the food is good.

In pork we trust.Don't be like me when you go here! Order a por product, not their carne asada. When a location has a product in their name, I should have taken that as direction on how to order!Don't be like me.I ordered a grilled carne asada burrito and added avocado, sans beans. Given the avo was only $0.50 extra, I should have been weary. I was happy at the cost, but the amount they put in the burrito was laughable. I even got up and asked if they forgot to add it, but they said it was in there. After a few bits, I found the teaspoon they added. Not ideal, but lesson learned.The asada was okay. But I tried my friends carnitas and it was really good, crispy and not dry! If I am to come back, I will get any option with carnitas.Lesson learned.I was so happy to see they had Pepsi products on tap, which is my absolute favorite surprise when I go to a new restaurant.They have a salsa bar, but they cover the top portion with saran wrap, so it lead us to believe we were not to grab our own. The staff asked us which salsa we wanted when they brought us their food. Their mild salsa had more of kick than I anticipated, but I was actually able to hang! I also did get to try their homemade chicharron and the crunch was legit, but the flavor was on the blander side. I don't eat this often, so I could be uneducated in how these are supposed to taste -- take this review for whatever you want too.There was a small language barrier, but we were all able to get our orders completed. Please be patient and aware of this before you go in.Overall, it was consistently crowded in here, so I know the local community likes this spot. My burrito was okay, but their carnitas was better. I'll order better next time, I promise!Pork and more!

The carnitas are moist and flavorful here. You go up to the counter and order at the register. There are a few inside tables, nothing fancy. The guy spoke mostly Spanish but no problem ordering. The burritos the cheese wasn't melted, but the amount of meat was very generous. The carnitas platillos was generous in portions also. The beans were delicious, rice was flavorful. The restaurant is located in an older strip mall not very inviting with bars on the windows. Lots of free parking in front though. I would order a party tray for a big get together.

This is such a wonderful shop for one very special, unique and beautiful protein. The pig. Cerdo. Carnitas. This is and likely never will be a hip Tex mex spot with a long line of gringos at the door. The menu isn't going to win any awards or cause confusion of any kind.The menu consists of Carnitas and that's it. Some rice, beans, salsas and that's that. It through me off st first cause I was in the mood for something specific and they have a simple menu. But, the quality of the food is what's important here. The Carnitas are succulent and the lard shines its lovely soul across the crispy skin of the special bites. You basically order by the pound and get some tortillas to make tacos. It's glorious and I want to eat here all the time. If you're throwing a party, this is the spot. They have the capability to serve over 100 guests and the cost is reasonable AF.

I visited Carnitas El Rincon on Friday, 7/28/23, during lunchtime. At first, I wanted to order a quesadilla. I was told that it could not be prepared. I decided to get four Carne Asada tacos with a side of beans as my next option. The tacos were extremely huge that I almost couldn't finish. The tacos tasted great, especially with the hot salsa. The side of beans was also good. This place has solid Mexican food.

Some of the best carnitas I have had! You cannot beat the deals/ combos they have. The salsas were great. I love it all so we got the #2 combo with everything. The cueritos, the buche, ribs-- and of course carnitas, and salsa with rice and bean!!! My mouth is watering.

Found this business on Instagram, growing up in Mexico Sunday's were our Carnitas day for brunch. Had to give them a try, had combo # 4, which is 1.5 lbs of carnitas, rice, beans, tortillas, salsa and 2liter Pepsi. Added half a pound of cueritos and chicharron. This was more than enough for 4 people, we had it for brunch and again the following day as we had enough leftovers. The carnitas and salsa were the stars of the meal for us! Sooooooooo good!!!

Decided to try out this spot (Florin) since we were in the mood for carnitas.. worsttt most dry carnitas I've tried I should have known the moment I pulled up, they had no customers & the lady in the front was super rude not to mention overpriced and they offer no chiles en vinagre just their bootsy salsa lol who eats carnitas sin limon y unos chiles en vinagre?!!? lol anyways save your time money and gas don't go to this location at least. Your welcome

Best burrito in the area hands down!! Fresh ingredients, avocado, meat and amazing salsa. Very authentic!! I average at least 2 burritos a month from here and it's mandatory on a hangover

La comida esta muy buena y el servicio excelente Pero el iré acondicionado tal vez no servía o no estaba encendido porque estaba demasiado caliente adentro que no se podría ni disfrutar de comer las tan buenas carnitas que acrecen en el local creo que tal vez es por esa razón que todos piden para llevar no quiero ni imaginar lo que pasan los empleados trabajando todo el día ahí dentro con esas temperaturas.
