Carniceria Tikal

Very clean small shop. It's pretty small and tucked into other businesses so it's hard to see. But they are very friendly and the tamales are so good. I wish they had more meat but they are still very good. 1.59 for one pork. 1.99 for the chicken.

Carniceria is awesome find. They a lot of options on meat, veggies, and supplies for a great taco party. The restaurant art has good food too. I recommend this place all the time to my co-workers and friends. I don't live in the area but willing to drive here after work.

Cool place. This review is just for the store. Nice meat market and store with good variety of meats. I briefly looked at the veggies and fruits they had for sale, and while the section is not huge, it all looked fresh. The prices for both meats and produce were slightly higher than at a large Latino market but that was to be expected. Great service by the friendly guy behind the meat counter (he looks mean but once you start chatting him up cool guy). Great service by the guy who rang me up.

My last review still stands.You can also send money to South of the Border countries for a $10 fee, up to $10,000 in dollars or local currency. Beats the major banks.

This place is awesome. I get there arachara meat marinated and its awesome on the bbq. The guy who works the meat counter is really cool and he makes some really good salsa fresh daily prices are good.

At this store,you will find all kinds of meat, they also cut the meat how you want it. They have money transfers to Central America, and South America. They sell pre-paid cards. They sell delicious bread. Lots of mexican and South American products etc. They treat every customers great,as if they were family. Overall such an amazing store.

Went here to get meat. Waited a while because there was only one person manning the whole store. Looked around a bit and saw rotting vegetables and bread with mold on it. Also when I cooked the meat at home everyone in my household agreed that it tasted weird.

September 15 is Guatemala's Independence day and I was searching high and low for a restaurant but could not find one In Sacramento . The only awesome restaurant I know is in San Francisco called San Miguel there food rocks!!!!! At the time S.F was far so Carniceria Tikal helped satisfy my need. I bought tamales, Chocolate Guerrero, Incasa cafe instantaneo and Salvadorean frijoles. I was over the moon!! Having parents that are Chapines I celebrated Independence day. This place is awesome!!!!!!!And the people who work are real Chapines.
